Popped in for a couple of pints as we are staying nearby. Lovely pub, The lady behind the bar, we did get her name, but she was friendly and welcoming, great place to visit

Great place to stay to be near York centre. Rooms immaculately clean. Friendly staff. Car parking on-site for a reasonable cost. Lots of good eating places nearby. Great stay and would recommend.

Really liked this nice local pub, unfortunately not as busy as it deserves to be and the beers a bit pricey. Lovely staff and friendly atmosphere. We went two nights in a row.
