Went for Sunday Lunch. Food was amazing but the drinks were a bit pricey...
We loved sitting in the new conservatory, but it maybe needs some outer doors as it was chilly as customers and staff went outside to the terrace.
Had a problem with the online booking system, so had to book over the phone.
We celebrated a family birthday at The Waterfront last Saturday lunchtime and had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and everyone in the team made us feel very welcome. The service was friendly, attentive and everyone was so helpful. We couldn't have asked for more! Thank you.
Really nice new relaxing light space since I last visited. Great place to stop when out on the bike and enjoy the views.

Top place to relax. Fabulous food. Crayfish starter was super fresh. Sea bass was generous, fresh and expertly cooked. Trio of lemon desserts was sublime. Honestly one of the best desserts I’ve had. Great coffee. None if this weak, tasteless junk you get everywhere. Fast and attentive service from the very smart Scarlett who has THE best DMs.
We have just returned from the Waterfront having spent the afternoon enjoying an amazing afternoon tea to celebrate a friend's special Birthday. The food was excellent as was the service and the new extension with a fantastic view of the river.
I'd like to thank Nicola for looking after us and catering to all our various dietary requirements, the afternoon tea was the best we've had.
Love this place! Their new extension is stunning and such a lovely place to eat and look out onto the river. The food was lovely and I’ll definitely be going back again soon.

The only slight negative was that one of the "extra" items didn't come out until almost at the very end. The staff were very apologetic.

Beautiful marina with great facilities. The staff upstairs are super helpful and the guys in the Cafe are attentive. Cracking breakfast to start us off for the day.
Will be going back and looking forward to sampling the lunch menu.
An afternoon tea celebration with family. Aime was great in the lead up getting booking right. The food was delicious. The service excellent, staff great, vegetarian and vegan options equally delicious.
Great venue. Having eaten here (again) over the weekend, it's consistently welcoming and friendly, good food, great staff, and lovely atmosphere. Looking forward to the completion of the conservatory add-on on the river front which can only enhance things.
Very good with gluten free choice. My wife and I go regularly for lunch. Good choice of menu. Can get very busy need to book. Can also- for me - get quite noisy.
Popped in before work, really nice atmosphere, had to come at night so unfortunately didn't catch the river view but great staff, especially the waitress :) Will definitely come again when I'm nearby.
Called on Easter Bank Holiday Monday for lunch. We hadn’t booked and it was very busy, but Rachel managed to fit us in. We were well looked after by Amy, who took our order for drinks and then lunch. Great menu, the lunch came quickly, it was very nice, great portions and immaculately presented. It looks like an extension is underway, giving an even better view of the river. Well done to all.
We had an amazing lunch on Saturday and the team at the Waterfront could not have been more accommodating. We had a pushchair with us and the lovely server (whose name I’ve since forgotten - apologies) really put us at ease with two babies. We shared the Fisherman’s catch and the Fish Finger raft, both were fresh and delicious. The Fisherman’s catch was a beautiful selection of seafood and the haddock goujons on both dishes were light and delicious. The place is clean and has a great view onto the river, but we’ll be returning for the friendly service and the delicious food. It can be daunting visiting a restaurant with two babies but the team made us feel welcome and at ease. Our server really is a credit to the place. The changing facilities were really clean. Looking at the menu already in preparation for the next visit!
Very nice food. Had fried egg sandwich and coffee - good quality. Lovely setting by the river.
