Lovely pub, good selection of beers (let me try a sample before deciding which one!) very nice food (reasonable cost also). Very friendly and welcoming staff. Nice large beer garden too. Would definitely recommend.

1st time visiting today, just dropped in after our day out. What a lovely friendly welcome, pub was lovely and clean, food was great we had starter, main and pudding from Sunday menu bargain. Loved the little extra in the bathroom but one negative review is although they supply changing mat, u have to change little one on the floor. Highly recommend and will definitely be visting again. P.s sorry for the smashing accident :-/

Such a peaceful place. So much to see in a day, probably need 2. The train was brilliant. Staff are amazing and so helpful. A huge thank you to Jeff Williams who spent time with us and took us to the submariners memorial.

Lovely impromptu Sunday lunch, friendly service and excellent food, nice to see a place that brings children's food out cool enough to eat rather than red hot. We can definitely recommend the gammon and children's cottage pie, full of flavour and great portions.

We stopped off while on o bike ride for a drink and a bite to eat. We sat outside in the garden. The turkey sandwich came with a choice on brown or white bread and a side of fries and salad. We enjoyed our light bite. And would definitely stop off when passing in the future.
