The food at the Fourmile was rather delicious indeed. My tart was a real highlight, as was my haddock and chips. My dining partner’s millionaire dessert tart was to die for and the service from our waitress was second to none. Polite and friendly staff offered their recommendations and were very attentive without being invasive which I loved. A brilliant wee (well not to wee) eatery with plenty of service with a smile.

Great breakfast. Decent sized portions and very good quality bacon/sausages/black pudding. Friendly service too.

Visited here for my 21st Birthday, out of everywhere in the city I wanted to choose here for my birthday tea. Upon arriving it looked a very modern, quiet restaurant with a modern seating area outside. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who showed us to our table, the menu was fantastic from goujons, macaroni, burgers to salads it certainly fits all!
I had the chicken goujons and they were fantastic, with some homemade onion rings it went down a treat. The inside is rather cosy, homely with a nice ambiance they have the restaurant area, big parties area and funeral tea areas so its all separate and makes it quiet rather than noisy.
Our dinner came out in no time, all homemade and fantastic, only slight let down was the desert menu not alot of selection and all deserts above £5 which is pricey. I however had a fantastic churro desert (small but very nice), warm churros, chocolate sauce, cream as well it was delightful.
For a first visit it was great, certainly will re visit again loved it, great birthday meal.

Fantastic food well presented although perhaps a little on the expensive side. However the portions were very good. Lovely atmosphere. Staff excellent and friendly.

Always keen to dine here as staff are so friendly and helpful. Menu is varied and cake counter can't be passed!

Staff were amazing and incredibly friendly. Food took only minutes to arrive after I ordered, and staff left me in peace to enjoy my meal which I'm always grateful for. Cake selection is incredible!

This was my second visit to the Fowrie Garden Cafe when I met friends again for a catch-up but this time, over breakfast! The full breakfast was just delicious and my friends loved their respective breakfasts of pancakes and a muffin! All washed down with tea and coffees for a really reasonable £30 bill between us.
I think it is going to be our favoured meeting place after eyeing up the homebakes today. Definitely trying a cake next time!

Visited here for dinner while in Aberdeen, the staff where very polite and helpful, we first booked for a table of 3 and on the same day of arrival we changed to a table for 7 people, a staff member done there best to accommodate us all,
Nice welcome on arrival quickly taken to our table and drinks order taken, good selection of food to offer, food was nice and hot and very tasty , I would recommend this to friends and family and we will definitely be back when next in Aberdeen .

Here for a funeral, great staff that couldn't do enough, friendly but very respectful. Soup was very homely and beautiful depth of flavor, great select of sandwiches and cakes 👍👍

We had a nice dinner. Haddock was fresh and the Sirloin great quality. Downside that they were not flexible and couldn't bring chips sooner for the toddler.

I like this place and the food is of a high quality. Today I didn't enjoy the chips as well as usual but the rest of the meal was good. The waiting staff are attentive without being intrusive and made sure that a Coeliac dinner was well catered for. Also today it was very noisy and at one point a dog was barking loudly. Saying that I would definitely recommend a visit as you can have coffees and light meals as well .

We were here a few days ago for my father's funeral lunch , what a spread , lovely soup and selection of sandwiches ,hot sausage rolls , tea and coffee and scones with jam and cream , was really impressed . The service was brilliant aswell

We were given vouchers for a wedding gift, thought we'd give it a try as it's up the road!
I always make sure to ask for a dairy free menu when I first go in to a new restuarant (if I haven't already checked online) but they didn't have one. When I asked for an allergen menu, I was offered gluten free, and when I said dairy free I was offered gluten free....
It came to ordering drinks - no drinks menu or suggestion of what they had to offer, apparently you're just expected to know what they have, I wasn't sure what I wanted so instead of asking again when our drinks were brought out they were dumped on the table and the Waitress ran off so I had to wait until we ordered our food before ordering a drink!
Waitress always seemed in a rush, it seemed understaffed for how stressed the staff were - but as someone who has worked in the services for years - it was not busy.
We ordered. I ordered vegetable fajitas as they are usually almost universally dairy free - tortilla Wraps are effectively flour and water. Asked the Waitress to double check with kitchen ... didn't come back to tell me whether or not it was dairy free.
My Mother and husband got their food, and they brought mine out with no Wraps as they didn't have dairy but again didn't think to tell me before hand. So I said I'd just have chips (which were yum).
I was given a menu to check over if there was anything else I would like - not a single person came to check if our food was okay or even remembered to check if there was anything else I would like...
My husband had finished his drink and for the hour and a half we were there, he wasn't even offered another drink. Empty glasses were taken with no offer of another drink.
I did mention this at the end, and we did get 10% off of our bill and my £2.50 chips were free.. but quite frankly the service was abysmal.
If you have any allergies I do not recommend, especially not if you have any dietary requirements like a vegan etc, bloody nightmare.
Such a disappointment.
Now I'm cooking myself dinner at home whilst my mum and husband are stuffed!

Was not impressed by gluten free menu, and also the inflexibility of a chef who couldn't prepare a stuff gluten free mushroom for a started! Basic ingredients in any kitchen unless its all bought in preprepared. The haggis starter was over cooked (deep fried) on a positive my salmon was lovely but never had so many green peas in one serving. When the bill came they had charged for a stuffed mushroom they couldn't prepare so we had the £5.oo removed from the bill. Got to try a little harder folks, we also got our bill before I had finished my glass of wine might have ordered another but we were clearly in the way of staff getting home for the night. we are home now feeling a little flat night out over and its only 20:54 Don't worry wont repeat this visit

Very disappointed last night. I suggested going here for dinner as I usually enjoy the food. I ordered the burger and my friend ordered the gammon steak. Our food duelly arrived and when I cut my burger in the bun in half, the blood oozed over my plate. I summoned the waitress and asked for a cooked version!. She apologized but it meant that my friend and I had to eat our meals separately, not ideal on a date!!!!!! Said burger was re-served which had now been "cremated" I tried to eat it but it wasn't good. My friend's gammon was dry and grisly too. The glasses our drinks were in looked dirty and my cutlery wasn't changed. After bringing it to the attention of staff we were told our meal was free. Although I can't prove what the cause was, I ended up spending the latter part of the evening being very unwell. We certainly won't be returning here again, and it wasn't even busy.

Used to be a regular for business lunches until I retired with only occasional visits since, I also found the menu was very basic although when ordered, it was freshly cooked and very nice.
Pre printed plastic laminated menus never ever gave me confidence on how good the food was but to be fair the food was good and the service also good.

Just had a great, tasty, relaxed lunch. The place was warm, staff welcoming and food spot on. Well done, keep up the good work.

Very disappoint! Had 18 of us at a family get together but was seated at 2 separate tables and treated like 2 separate bookings..... server accidentally dropped a couple of meals (not their fault may I add) and we suspect one of them (maple and sesame chicken fillets) was taken back to Kitchen, wiped down and re- served as was tasteless and had what looked like blue roll on it... was offered it for free along with free pudding..... but very disappointed on what was suppose to be a big family reunion ended up being separated and food dissapointing. Won't be rushing back

Staff were very attentive & pleasant. I had the turkey with cranberry mayo panini which included salad, crisps & coleslaw (could have opted for chips). My meal was delicious and would definitely recommend it. We had a side dish of onion rings which were enormous and so tasty. I look forward to going back again, compliments to the chefs and waiting staff that made our visit a lovely experience.

Haggis Bon Bon starter was disappointing. 4 tiny bits of haggis wrapped in Filo pastry, more like Haggis Won Tons then Bon bons. But Salmon main course was really lovely - fresh and loads veg. However we asked for haddock in breadcrumbs rather than batter but they said they couldn't do it. For desert I had the chocolate pot - it was amazing!! Overall it was a nice meal

Went along for Sunday carvery today and was fantastic. Great customer service, cheap at 3 courses for £17 and good quality food. Will definitely return. Staff were top notch!

Cracking meal again this evening in the Smiddy bar, the fajitas were a hit. Bar was nice and busy with a good selection of beers and service spot on. Will be back.

Very disappointing that a local pub won't let dogs in. It's completely understandable in the restaurant but why would you not let well behaved dogs in? Surely given the local economy you would be looking to gain more customers, not less.
