I have been going to the Inversnecky for well over 30 years. The family who run it and their staff are very friendly, and the service is great. The food is freshly prepared and cooked to order, and they use local suppliers where possible. Their All Day Breakfasts are excellent, especially "The Special". Portions are generous.
Children and people with special needs are made very welcome, and dogs are welcome outside with water bowls provided. Can't recommend the 'Snecky highly enough.
Very accommodating. 20 children from glashieburn nursery wanted a trip to icecream shop. Great service by owner and price.
A big thanks also for providing us with wafers, tubs and spoons for our end of term treat... more icecream !! much appreciated, glashieburn nursery x
We had a delightful breakfast. All the food was fresh and delicious. Prices were similar to all the cafes around the beach area. Staff were lovely and helpful. An already great experience.
We stopped by the Inversnecky for a quick fish tea a couple of days ago - in need of help and advice as well as food! The lovely staff folks went above and beyond, helping us charge our phone, feeding us quick, and even fixing us up with a taxi to make our train in time. And our fish tea was lovely also! A great experience courtesy of some absolute diamonds - thanks folks!!😀👍👏👏👏
If you are looking for great food then look no further than this place, located right on Aberdeen beach it makes a great location for a bite to eat whilst enjoying the fresh air or visiting the carnivals. They have a wide variety of everything and anything from burgers, chicken to hot dogs and sausage/bacon rolls, the staff are really friendly and down to earth willing to go the extra mile. They are available to sit in or takeaway and also offer ice cream in case of that summers day!
I had the sausage, bacon roll with cheese in it, and the girlfriend had the tuna sandwich with lentil soup. Both tasted fantastic and definitely filled us up, it is a little pricey but still maintains great quality of food and in no time at all. Definitely the best on Aberdeen seafront!
Enjoyed my breakfast..
Not very flexible..Asked to change my tomato for beans..
Was told unfortunately cannot do this so beans will be a extra at £1.50.
Not a big deal really.Went for small breakfast..And added beans in minus tonato. They lost a few pounds on my original order..
But other than this enjoyed my visit.
Had a Cowboy Breakfast which was very nice even though as I was seated outside a massive seagull swooped and stole a rasher of Bacon from my plate . The manager was fantastic and offered a replacement breakfast.
The staff are well presented and as nice as ninepence,
All in all, A great wee cafe on the boulevard to take in the views and have some tasty food. I liked the way the menus offered different fry ups ,like just eggs and bacon or eggs and sausages etc. 👍🌞
Best place for our regular weekend breakfast. Now lovingly referred to as the Sneckie Brekkie club!! Good selection of menu and excellent service.
I first came here in 1986. Hard to believe that's 37 years ago. Here again today. I think the only thing that's changed are the table cloths and the staff! I think also they may have new chairs! But as always, fab coffee and delicious food. An Aberdeen institution and I hope it doesn't suffer too much with the proliferation of beach fast food vans....
This is a great seaside cafe on Aberdeen beach front. Great food, reasonably priced. I have been going there since I was a child and would always choose this cafe over the others around .
Excellent service and food was freshly cooked, milk shake was tasty and no unnecessary colouring agent.. Will be back soon.
After a long walk along the beach this is a perfect place for something to eat. Usually pretty busy but I have always managed to get a table. I just love the "Special Breakfast" and it is a very good helping.
