I had a couple of hours to kill in Aberdeen, so I stopped in for coffee and a piece of cake. It was my first time there. The price felt really reasonable and both were delicious, especially my flat white.
The staff were really friendly and welcoming.
But the best part was the atmosphere. I went upstairs and it was so lovely. I got a really comfy chair looking out over Union street and just chilled out for an hour. There was such a nice vibe there, I left feeling almost nurtured 😅

Absolutely amazing coffee shop. The coffee tastes fantastic every time, and the staff are incredibly lovely and friendly every time!
Absolutely devastated to hear the shop is closing next week as it was by far the best coffee shop in Aberdeen.

Good coffee and love the upstairs seating bit

It's pretty good. I'll be generous and say the interior has an authentic feel. In other words, it looks a little shabby. However, I don't mind that and the important thing is the staff were excellent and very helpful.

Coffee was good, staff were attentive. Place was clean, but it's the second time I've been there when the upstairs has had people "high" on stuff which wasn't life, hanging out.

Quality coffee and the upstairs section has lovely quiet music and nice views. It's my favourite coffee shop in Aberdeen.

The two girls that work there have to make the best coffee time after time I love a coffee im a chef so it keeps me going but not only that it brings back memories.
I like to live life spontaneously I don't live according to a plan I just try live in the moment so having a a mocha with cream or a latte with Brazilian blend and having them done with pure love and care makes my absolute world thank you girls.
P.s I've been single 3 years to shy to ask the batista with that tattoos that I adore for her number and if I can take her to dinner.

A decent, well kept chain coffee shop with a great location. The coffee was well made and tasty and the pastries were good too. Only kept from 5 stars due to not quite having the character of a decent independent coffee shop. As good as chain coffee shops get.

This was my first time visiting but as I understand it, it's a chain. The cappuccino cake and scone were disappointing as they were both hard and dry, so they've probably sat around for a few days. But the coffee was good and it was nice to sit inside and take my time to enjoy everything. They have plenty of seating and the staff were friendly.

Nero may be a chain, it's one with a very strong product and (imho) the best coffee you'll find outside of more niche players.
