One of the best places for food in Aberdeen. You can choose option from menu or decide to take carvery and pay for the plate. All carvery meats were very moist and tender, with broad choice of side dishes and gravies. Place is popular so best to reserve spot in advance 😉
Excellent meals were obtained at the Carvery, drinks waiting at our table on our return. Perfect. What was not perfect was the fact we were seated in the family area along with noisy kids after asking when booking for the adult area. Nothing wrong with kids, we were once ones ourselves. Maybe being a Saturday night there weren't other preferred tables available.
Weekend prices for small carvery was £8.49 and standard carvery £11.49. Food tasted good especially the gammon. Vegetables were ok though at 2pm they had been under the heat lamps for a while and the roast potatoes and parsnips were getting crispy. The brussel sprouts were very soggy and likely as a result of being the frozen kind and/or sitting in water too long. The cauliflower cheese lacked taste. Overall a good value meal.
