Mavericks Steak & Cocktails

The food is really good and I especially loved the homemade mashed potatoes with red potatoes. The ribeyes (ate here a couple times) I had were very good. Melted like butter and the seasoning was perfect. Though the kitchen over cooked one of my steaks, but it was still really good so I didn’t send it back. The fresh strawberry lemonade was really good too… wish I could get that back home. I feel like the price is a little high for what it is… but I still went back a second time. The bar staff really shouldn’t let people they know… or off the clock crew behind the bar though, even if they were only just moving spots to further around the corner on the bar.

I really adore this place. I get something different every time I stay, and it never fails to disappoint! Their pastas are my favorite, and I LOVE their deserts! My father adores their lava stones so much that he had to buy one for himself at home. The meat lovers in my family obsess over their steaks, definitely worth the price. The rest of us appreciate their other varieties, and the service never fails to impress us. Our table tends to joke around and be very comedical with each other, and the waiters/waitresses never fail to chime in. 10/10 would recommend, always revisit again!

Went there with family. Group of 10. Tried to make reservations but that's seemed to be an inconvenience. The hosts had little interest in helping us. Our order took a little over average wait. My food was wrong. They left my fries and took my sandwich. Brought back the right sandwich about 20 minutes later with no fresh fries. REALLY?!?! Maybe a decent place for parties of 2. We didn't go back.

I have been out to Aberdeen many a time for high impact work projects and this is easily my go-to restaurant in the area! Food is great, price tag is just fine with me, and it's so convenient if you staying over at one of the attached hotels. Gotta love not having to walk outside in the winter to make it to the great food destination known as "Mavericks Steak & Cocktails"

I’ve ordered pickup twice from this location and both times I’ve sat waiting for 40+ minutes. Today they took my order and card over the phone and told me 10-15 minutes. The host couldn’t find my order, but ended up finding it behind the counter not rung in. After she rang it in, I waited an additional 45 minutes. I am now an hour after I ordered. Offered nothing of an apology from the manager after I brought it to her attention

My dad, over 100 yrs old, wanted to treat his daughters to a good steak dinner. In Aberdeen for a medical appt and this was a celebration. Thought Maverick was a steak house so we went there. First ones there when it opened at 4:30. Sometimes part of a meal is bad or 1 person has a bad meal. All 3 meals were poor! All food was cold. Steak was tough and tasteless. All food actually had no flavor, tasteless. Garlic cheddar potatoes were gummy, cold and tasteless. Biggest disappointment. $$$$
