Caribou Coffee

The coffee I'm having now is excellent. The location is perfect, the interior is beautiful. So why the three stars? Believe me, I would put it down to one star because of the strange staff member, who works in this coffee house and doesn't know what a Cappuccino is. She also doesn't know what a "Malted Mocha" is, an item that caught my attention on their menu. It began when I walked up to the counter, looking up at their menu and said to the girl "can you tell me more about the Malted Mocha, what's in it?" "The malted what? She said. She then beckoned her coworker, who simply said "oh it's sweeter than a regular Mocha." The response didn't exactly satisfy my curiosity, however I moved on. I noticed no cappuccinos listed on their menu. Logically I thought, I'm in an established that makes fresh brewed coffee - so why not ask if they make them. To the same person, "do you have Cappuccinos?" She looked at me like I was an alian "Cappuccinos! what's that?" I then said, "you work in a coffee establishment and you don't know what a cappuccino is?" "I'm new here" I then asked, "can you please ask your friend if I can get a cappuccino?" I realize employees are difficult to come by these days but, this one is up in the clouds. Yes she is young, but compared to the rest of the staff here, she's not on the ball. I hope she learns the business and makes a fortune in whatever she likes one day. To be fair to Caribou, and the girl who knew what she was doing, my cappuccino turned out excellent. The establishment itself is very nice inside, a beautiful build out. They have a nice product line to choose from. I will come again despite my three stars, and likely raise them.

Staff is exceptional! Super nice, patient, and knowledgeable. Helpful as I had many questions. I love the atmosphere. There are plenty of seating options... Tall table for standing, half booth for soft seat stidying/computer work, long massive tables for spread out studying, and deep seated arm chairs for relaxing soft deep conversations with friends. Huge windows with tables for natural light working. A 🔥 fireplace!!! Severalllll breakfast sandwich options. Detailed decor! I love the papyrus wall of cards to buy. Merch galore. They also have in house mugs so there's no need to use a one time use cup! They have coconut and almond milk yay!

Stopped for a "quick" hot chocolate on our way through Aberdeen because we normally love Caribou; however, our experience here was not good. First of all, you need to treat your walk in customers the same as your drive through customers, or advertise to go through the drive through if you want quicker service. We waited ten minutes for our order and no other customers were inside. Secondly, tell your employees not to discuss other bad customers and also their personal lives. As a customer in the store, it was a total turn off and we will never stop by this Caribou again!!

Me and a co worker went in for a coffee in the morning. We got a breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Unfortunately they did now have what we wanted so after we paid they said that they would give us another for the same price. I looked at my friend's receipt and the original sandwich costed $1.30 cents more. On top of that they double charged the sandwich! When we asked for a refund they were extremely rude. After asking for a manager I had another unpleasant surprise! She was very unprofessional and rude! This simple misunderstanding turned from bad to worse! I highly recommend finding another coffee shop!
