I went to this carvel 2 times this week and one of The times I got a stale cone. My next trip to the carvel I let them know about the stale cone I received when I was there a day ago and they just looked at me like deer in headlights and said oh that happened. No let me give u a cone this time, no discount, no I am sorry, 😤 just oh. I wish Rita's was still close because I definitely would not go back here again. Just get the ice cream in a cup that's your safest bet.

We usually get Carvel ice cream at a place closer to our home in Freehold. But recently, my husband was picking up take out from Park Place Diner next door to this Carvel on 34 and had a cooler bag with him, so decided to get some ice cream. I didn't realize that the same brand of ice cream could taste different....but this one is noticeably better. It is creamier and just plain tastes wonderful! We now get it from this one whenever we can. The only reason for 4 Stars and not 5 is that sometimes we get noticeably less in the cup. So their portions are not consistent.
