Hmm. This started out with us second guessing our choice when we walked in as the ambience itself wasn’t ‘exciting. But the food? The food? Absolutely fantastic! Enjoyed everything we ordered from the a La carte menu and the waiters were very polite.
A family celebration, 1 baby, 3 children and 8 adults at 5pm on a Saturday. Friendly welcome from Rob, enthusiastic staff and tasty food enjoyed by all. For me, Fillet of Aberdeen Angus, medium rare and cooked so well, with very tasty and well presented haggis, pomme puree, neep puree and whisky jus
Another fantastic evening at tarragon! Excellent service by really friendly staff. Food presentation is beautiful. Food quality is exceptional. The best restaurant for British cuisine in Aberdeen without a doubt. Second time here and it was as good as the first, will definitely be returning.
The food is delicious. A lovely atmosphere but the service was a little disorganised.
Went for lunch with a group of friends, restaurant is cosy and has a really nice ambiance. Food was delicious, the Cullen Skink was extra creamy and probably one of the best I’ve had in a while. Pan seared sea bream was amazing, crispy and tasty with lots of crayfish underneath. Good selection of co
Lovely evening. Arrived and got the only table left, so I thought there might be a bit of a wait, but no. Service was slick and efficient. The food was excellent. Only my tortellini was not quite as tasty as it sounded on the menu. But I'm not deducting 1/2 a point from an excellent night out.
Had a lovely meal here. We were given a complimentary amuse bouche and bread to start the meal. I ordered the halibut which came slightly more cooked than I'd usually like however it was still a delicious dish - the hispi cabbage was particularly tasty. My partner ordered the venison which was absol
Excellent food, wonderful service, and a beautiful restaurant. Definitely a great addition to Rosemount and a must-visit. We really enjoyed our evening here and will definitely be back soon; we need to try the lunch menu!
I had the pleasure of dining at Tarragon three times during my visit to Aberdeen. All three times were a gastronomic delight and extremely enjoyable. The restaurant atmosphere is inviting, the service is friendly, and the food is amazing. Graham Mitchell's restaurant boasts a farm (or sea) to table
Spectacular, Christmas meal with the family, everyone was blown away. All the food was delightful, but the sauces were exceptional. We will most definitely be making meals a regular routine
Cosy, Fantastic food, friendly service. Great place for a treat.
Was there on a Wednesday night and not too busy so that was great. The food is absolutely top, top notch. If there is better food in Aberdeen please do tell me. The starter I could have had 3 plates of as a main, Steak was lovely and the rowie bread and butter pudding was awesome. Great place, great
Local restaurant that we have been meaning to visit for awhile. We popped in today for lunch. Food was well above my expectation given I only had a club sandwich. Made even better that my request for some mayo, was met with Chef making me some fresh made mayo! Hubbie’s fishcakes were also ‘awfa fin
We sent an email to book a day and they were quite fast answering and offering us a time. All good was amazing and the staff is super nice. We will repeat for sure!
We had been looking forward to trying Tarragon and it didn't disappoint. Outstanding food and great service.
My experience at Tarragon was 5 Star start to finish. From the moment i walked in the staff were friendly and attentive. Jay who looked after us throughout the evening was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about both the drinks that they served and the food on the menu. I had the venison for my main c
