Visited on a Sunday, staff were lovely and really helpful. Lots to choose from food and drink wise including a good range of vegetarian/ vegan options. Highly recommended.

Brilliant quality of good, fresh ingredients and an amazing tasting coffee! Booking table in advance recommended, they get really busy

As the crow flies, this is only a breath away from the train station, and what a delightful spot for a wee bit of tea after such a lovely train ride!
Had a pot of tea in some very fancy crockery! And it did my sore throat a treat! I also had a lovely scone that the staff heated up for me in their twee oven.
My partner had a carrot cake that made me oh so envious, it was nice and orangey with a hint of honey, which rounded out in a lovely chorous of confectionary!
Next time I'm in aberdour I'll be bringing all my friends to this place for a lovely lunch.

Lovely lunch. Highly recommended. My wife was over the moon to find tasty vegan food and I enjoyed my food just as much. Lovely atmosphere , good food, good coffee, lovely staff.

Nice cafe, good service. Did not have breakfast but they did look looked wonderful, especially the one with avocado. The scones could be improved as rather dry and crumbly and served with really cold butter which caused the scones to break up.

Lovely veggie brunch at Mctaggarts in the smaller village of Aberdour, Fyfe Scotland. Cafe seemed popular with locals. Staff were friendly and efficient and quick to wipe down and clean after guests left their tables.
My meal was served fresh and hot after 10 minutes, good assortment of the normal "vegetarian" brunch being a main mushroom, haloumi some grape tomotos that were cooked but very juicy, an egg and buttered toast, side of their own bean mix. Good portion sizes and as indicated enjoyable for me, before I went off to explore the coastal village.
They had an assortment of cakes, coffee for takeaway was popular while I was enjoying my lunch. Recommended

Brunch menu that offers something different to other places. Really tasty food, chilled atmosphere and friendly staff. What more do you want from a cafe?

Superb tea and coffee, friendly efficient service and delicious food. Chilli con Carne was one of the best I've had. Fruity, spicy sauce, cheese, yoghurt, smashed avocado, tortilla chips and nice crunchy salad. Only criticism would be that there were only 5 whole chips. Rest were shrapnel and crumbs from the bottom of the bag.

Lovely little cafe in the very picturesque Aberdour which was very accomodating. My friend is undergoing treatment and had to have her coffee very weak due to her condition. This was not a problem for the staff will definitely return... Louise and Sharon

I go there quite often. Always excellent service and value, and great food with an interesting twist. Try their French Toast! And their soups- always something a bit different but never disappointing. I'd highly recommend this place for lunch or a coffee break.
