Nice local pub with friendly landlord and staff. They do not sell food but do sell snacks resulting in 3 out of 5 for food. A recent change of ownership has seen them focus on drinks. Both locals and tourists will surely be welcome, and when you have the beaches so close it is a great location
Went here for a meal while on holiday decided to have a steak after ordering was told they had no mushrooms, pepper sauce and 1 other item. When the meal arrived the chips were grey and greasy the onion rings had lost its batter the steak was okay. Although a discount was given it was one of the worst meals I’ve had
Little gem of a pub. Good selection of local real ales, friendly bar staff and dog friendly (with natural dog treats for sale for the canine family members).
Awesome, what a gem of a place. We are trying to have a pint in every pub on the island and this has been a nice surprise, friendly staff, happy locals and superb beer. What more could you ask for? Dog friendly too, with water supplied for the pup. Will visit again for food and more local ales!
Had a few lovely pints of Guinness over the last few days. Douglas and the staff are lovely and everyone is really friendly. Can't wait to come back.
Small cozy pub, good home cooked food accompanied by friendly service. Welcome dish of vegetables with our meals which you don't get as standard nowadays. Dog friendly in the bar area. Book ahead to avoid disappointment.
