Only had drinks. Made to feel very welcome by staff and regulars despite the wet weather.

What an amazing landlord - big thank you for our coffees this morning 👏
We walked from Newtown to Abermule and found the pub - it wasn’t open until noon (this was 10.30) but the landlord just popped in on his way to get supplies. He took the time (although he was in a rush) to make us a coffee. How very kind.
We will definitely return and recommend this pub, the menu looked amazing 😊

Absolutely gorgeous Sunday Lunch.
Proper home cooked food.
The delicious pate with onion chutney
Roast Beef perfectly cooked pink not running. Yorkshire puds roasties cabbage carrots parsnip and cauli broccoli cheese...awesome gravy

So well looked after for my Birthday tea. Amazing food (we went for the tapas sample) good amount of food and excellent service. Beer top class as well

Lovely little pub with amazing food! Not necessarily the cheapest around but definitely worth a stop, even if just to eat. Personal recommendation: The Abermule - a proper chicken burger!

A lovely place for food!
We came for a birthday meal and we weren’t disappointed, due to sit inside but the sun was shinning so we sat outside. Their outside area is well equipped and comfortable. Food was lovely if you want a bite to eat or just pop in for a drink.
Landlords are super welcoming and friendly.
