The Cove

We had a really great full breakfast here on a glorious hot September morning. Nice flat white coffee too. It's such a beautiful place, right on the seaside, and is decorated nicely with nautical decor, lobster pots, real plants and a tropical fish tank. It's a yacht club restaurant but non-members are also welcome. We were initially put off by difficulties in booking via the website and a large iron gate that at first appeared locked (but wasn't) at the entrance (which was also not obvious - at the bottom of the track from the right hand corner of the car park), but it was worth it for the lovely food and views.

Great atmosphere, the view makes it even better everything in the menu sounds so good its actually hard to pick one! Had the fish curry and my partner had the salmon and they were both amazing and super flavoursome, the wine list also offers a great choice of wines and the staff are super accommodating!

Great food, may seem a bit pricey but to be expected in a touristy place like Abersoch and quality is as good if not better than others in the area. Staff are good but dirty trainers on one of the waiters may not give the best first impressions. Overall worth a try because they do seafoid/fish very well.
