Fantastic food in a pleasant environment. We tried the lunchtime menu. I had the pigs cheeks, the bacon and vegetables were amazing on their own never mind the tender pig's cheeks. My daughter had the squid. Absolutely divine and a generous portion. My hubby had a pate baguette. We also had the patatas bravas between us, fantastic. The complementary olives and bread a welcome addition. We'll definitely be back.

Tucked away within a shop, you'll discover a quaint and atmospheric restaurant serving a range of Spanish food and wine.
There's not a lot of space, but it gets very busy, and they get pushed to the limit.
The food is authentic and delicious but a little on the pricey side for the portion sizes.
Worth hunting down if you fancy something out of the ordinary.
I felt so at home here! So much in the shop to drool over. We got there just before the kitchen closed and I’m so glad we did! Everything we ordered was fantastic. I only wish we could have stayed for a flight of vermouth! We didn’t realize they stopped serving at 3. :( We got the sardines with crisps, a salad and a meat and cheese plate. Food was simple and high quality. Ticked all my boxes. The shop had many wines, vermouth, oils, fish, cheese.. I was so overwhelmed by the selection I didn’t actually buy anything to take away. I’m regretting that now! Recommend for anyone visiting the area..

Victoria and David welcome me with kindness and explain about the wine and cheese selection. You really need to be local to know how great this place is.

There is limited seating for groups to eat in. Maybe something could be done with the seating at the back to cater for this.
Authentic and delicious Spanish tapas in a small and intimate setting. Highly recommended! Also, have a good selection of wines and Spanish beers, plus the deli shop is amazing.

These are my favourite kind of places, the ones where you just wander down a high street and think, 'ooo that looks nice' - only to be blown away! Great food - we went for the sharing platter with olives, meat, cheese and bread (just a little snack each), and then we both had the sherry flight which came with more olives and almonds - the almonds were to die for!
Sadly, we we're only in Aberystwyth for a short break but we're already planning on coming back so that we can try Ultracomida again.
Absolutely loved It, tucked away so only just found it. If you Love, cheese, olives and wine. Visiting here is a must (2018/2019). Been back a few times now, and the table layout has changed, just one in the middle but the same seating around the sides. More wine on display now. Very nice to pop in and have a glass of red with a few nibbles. (2022)
Superb little venue for the perfect Spanish lunch. Excellent coffe, generous sandwiches, amazing and unusual desserts all served by friendly staff. The shop is not very big but we were lucky enough to get a seat... .Next time we'll try an alcohol lunch as the selection of Spanish wines, sherry and vermouth are extensive.
