Do yourself a favour when you fancy fish and chips, go here, best fish and chips I think I have ever had. The batter was light and fluffy. Only negative point, was their large battered sausage was 2 small sausages, and the cod was 2 small portions instead of a regular size, but tbh that's just a very small negative. 9/10 for this place.

We visited this small chip shop after a ride on the Vale of Rheidol steamrailway and a couple of hours in the Welsh National Library, near the University. Our (local) friend suggested this location. It is a bit of a wiggle to get to the sea front, but parking in April was free (after 6pm) and there were spaces. Opposite the pier, is Chip box 4. Quality and quantity were excellent, and the items were fresh cooked. Cod roe and chips, vegetables burger, large battered sausage with large chips to Share came out at less than £20. Eating on the sea front even had the added free Sea Gulls, unsuccessfully attempting to scrounge a free meal. Large, bird proof, waste bins readily available for the used packaging. Highly recommended

Tiny premises but there was a warm welcome, service was excellent and the food was freshly cooked. The short wait was more than worthwhile. The fish and chips were perfectly cooked and the fish was delicious in a lovely crispy batter. Only sorry that we're just visiting, this would definitely be a favourite if we were local.

This is the place to go for fish and chips if you're visiting Aberystwyth, right on the seafront and great value for money. Must admit that the chips on my second visit weren't as good, they were quite dry and crispy, I think we must have just been unlucky and got the scraps before fresh ones were cooked. Still, the fish was extremely fresh, hot and salted just to my liking, couldn't complain there. Nice big portions of curry sauce too. Would definitely come here again in the future.
