A cracking bar, quite small but inviting and had a nice atmosphere! Live music was excellent, as was the beer. Bar staff were friendly too, basically we loved it!

A gem of a pub, with a wide selection of excellent craft beers and very genial service. We were lucky enough to visit on an open mic evening, and so enjoyed a great evening's entertainment. The pub is a credit to Aberystwyth. We were in the town for a short break, but it is places like this that make us want to return. It's dog friendly, too.

Great little find up a side street. Loads of local beers on tap. Brilliant live music (Beggars Buttons). Ended saying all evening. Had the most amazing sour drink by Pollys brew Co.

Had an excellent evening at the monthly get together, open mic night, of the Aberystwyth folk club. It's a great little venue with an excellent selection of beers and ciders. I can very much recommend this place for love music in a comfortable atmosphere. It's an easy, short walk from St Michael church car park.

Probably the place to be in Aberystwyth. Will always pop in every time I'm near by. Great live music and entertainment. Excellent menu of craft beers. Knowledge and helpful staff.

Another great place for craft beer in Aberystwyth, sister bar of Bottle & Barrel.
Plenty of Welsh beers and a well curated menu.
My only negative is the awful uncomfortable seating, not something I'd normally make an issue with but it's so bad I can't sit on it for any more beers.
Apart from that, great place for a couple of beers.

Cosy place, sister bar to Bottle & Barrel but with live entertainment. Great choice of drinks that are regularly changed. The Vault and The Barrel have to be the best bars in Aberystwyth, drinks aren't cheap, but so many ever changing drinks to try with very high percentages, so small serving are sold not pints when over 8%. Because of its diversity and uniqueness it doesn't get over crowded with ****heads like other well known chain pubs. So if you want friendly, cosy, good service and enjoy ales visiting is a must.
