White Horse

I've been to this pub a few times. It is good and the staff are nice. The only reason for 4 stars is because one time when sat outside, the garden area was completely swarmed with these white flies, which weren't anywhere else. This made sitting outside not very pleasant. Not sure if anything could have been done, but sharing my experience.

Just came for a quick bite to eat at lunch and super impressed! Lovely decor, clean, and nice atmosphere. We used the app so it was very quick and easy, food came out quickly and was beautifully cooked. I had lime and mango chicken tacos, mash and salt and pepper squid. They also had the women’s England game vs. Australia playing which was really good to watch whilst eating!

Lovely Sunday afternoon meal. We enjoyed a huge pie with potato and veggies, and a roast with all the trimmings. Food was piping hot with generous portions. Meat was tender and flavoursome. Service was friendly, down to earth and welcoming. Shame there were so many empty tables as we thought it was a great place to call by. Cricket on the TV for the husband...on silent for the wife! Not as good as our last visit, I think someone new has taken it over and not got it together yet. A few of the team were not sure what they were doing. Recommend the lunchtime steak and cheese chiabatta though with chips. Good luck in the future we only call In when travelling from the North back to Southampton.

Lovely little pub we called into for some glorious food and a few beers. Being Father's Day they had a free raffle and gave me a ticket Number 79.... 5 yeas old Bella picked my lucky ticket I've only just won a basket of goodies off the ticket given to me by Becky the Events Manager and presented by Doreen the General Manager

This was the second time we attempted to get lunch here -the first time it was too busy! Lovely food and the staff were really friendly. Good mix of people there too -young and older, and the variety on the menu was far better than your average pub grub! Will definitely be visiting again -although I have heard management are moving to another pub I'm Abingdon very soon!

Great food Great atmosphere, will definitely be back …Staff efficient and extremely helpful Thank you Returning again….. Love Thursday night with the friendly crowd. Always book table as a full house is expected. Food as usual consistently good. Staff fabulous as expected We really look forward to joining everyone tomorrow night for the karaoke. Keep up the good work , raising money again tonight for Macmillan 🥰 landlady always such a good sport .. feel safe to come here on my own and know it is a good place to be
