Didn't realise we were wandering in on their first day opening since covid and it was just brilliant. The owner is so lovely and couldn't have been more accomodating to us with two babies in tow to complicate matters! It was also lovely and cool on this ridiculously hot day. The chicken salad looked amazing and tasted even better.
Some places just have a good vibe and this is definitely one of them. Will definitely be back!

Very nice cosy place, ideal for meeting with a friend and chat as it quiet and not crowded. Only shame that has very short opening hours.

Lively atmosphere. Level access entrance. Good selection on menu. Thoroughly enjoyed lunching there ,in good company . Planning to return ASAP. Highly recommend this cafe

Very clean Friendly, cater for Gluten free.
Much better than McDonald'sbetter than Greggs , chatty better service,clean. very happy to recommend Great value bacon egg and a drink for £4 approx. Will visit again

A real little gem! It is such a rare treat to find a independent cafe these days in a high street filled with bug American chains I was so pleased to find The lounge cafe. The owners are so lovely and friendly the menu was great I found it hard to make a choice as there were so many lovely choices. If your looking for a really nice cafe and want to support local then give them a try you won't be disappointed!
