This was my second visit and was just as good as the last.We didn't have the pizza's this time (which were fantastic) we chose from the menu. Everything was tasty,hot and well presented.
The staff were friendly and attentive.the atmosphere was welcoming and the lady in charge was providing an excellent service.

I’m visiting for work from the North and stopped in for a drink and dinner. The delightfully cheery and hospitable Anna took great care and served me an absolutely delicious home cooked meal (fish and chips). No wonder the locals love it.

Can't comment on the rooms as didn't stay. Visited for evening meal and had varied menu and food was good. Definitely worth a look if you are in the area.

Dropped in yesterday afternoon for lunch with my Mum. The best, warm and friendly service. Nothing was any trouble. Great traditional pub food! I live overseas and visit family, but absolutely will be returning here on my next visit. Thank you 😊

The very best pub in Steventon. The food is excellent, they show all the relevant sport, they are dog and child friendly, the staff are the nicest people. There is table tennis and a bouncy castle, there is live music, there's an outdoor pizza oven. The owner is the nicest person, the bar staff couldn't be more excellent. Fully recommend without any hesitation.

We recently booked the Fox for our Company summer get together and found all the staff to be incredibly helpful and made the day a huge success. From start to finish it was well organised, food was brilliant and the setting was just what was required. Carly and her team were easy to deal with and nothing was an issue at all. No tablets needed to keep the children happy whilst waiting for food at The Fox in Steventon. Very few pubs have this covered, The Fox does!
With the choice of a trampoline, bouncy castle, sandpit, garden and indoor games there is something for every member of the family.
The food is great and the service always goes the extra mile. A great friendly local with an amazing kid friendly garden.

My mother and I go here often. The lady behind the bar is really lovely and the food is amazing! We always ask for a menu even though we always have fish and chips as the batter on the fish is so good. I have complex allergies and my mum has dementia. Both of these are handled with care and attention and I look forward to many meals there in the future.
