I ordered a 60th birthday cake and cupcakes for my mum's birthday. I asked for a Ted Baker handbag for the main cake but didn't really specify on the cupcakes. When my mum saw the handbag, she was blown away and I think it was her favourite thing of the night. The handbag was elegant looking and not tacky at all. The cupcakes matched the bag beautifully and we couldn't have been happier. Everything tasted great. Thank you Leanne.

Leanne made a beautiful cake for our wedding in May and we received lots of compliments from guests about how pretty the cake was and how tasty it was too! We booked Leanne about a year before our wedding with a £35 deposit, booked in our consultation via Instagram and the cake appeared on our wedding day exactly as we had discussed at the consultation and I was really happy with it. Leanne gave me a call a few weeks before the wedding just to double check all the details which was really reassuring. She sourced the wooden personalised decorations for our cake which really finished it off nicely. In all of our communications with Leanne she was super clear about the importance of returning the equipment in a timely manner - we appreciated the use of her personal cake stand to make our cake look perfect on the day and we made arrangements to have it dropped off a few days later despite being away. It was made clear from the start we’d need to do this and I was happy to do so given it was borrowed by us. Overall I’d definitely reccomend booking Sweetest Thing Cakery for a beautiful, tasty and also very reasonably priced wedding cake. Thank you.

Leanne is the most accommodating cake maker I have ever come across. On the hottest day of 2022 and the worst traffic jam the M6 had seen, she delivered our cake and made it on time in the midst of the height of the wedding season. She continues to produce the most wonderful designed cakes. I would not hesitate to recommend Leanne’s work to anyone!

Leanne has been my go to cake maker for quite some time now, so it was no surprise when I wanted her to do our wedding cake & dessert table goodies. Of course she did not disappoint! I had absolute trust in Leanne to design us something cool, quirky & contemporary as her style is something I’ve absolutely always loved. Not only does her work look amazing but it tastes delicious also. We chose lemon and Victoria sponge for our tiers and had nothing but compliments on how yummy the cake was! The Sweetest Thing Cakery was on a list of recommended suppliers from my venue and I am SO glad that I chose Leanne to make my wedding cake. The overall cake was incredible. The whole process from designing the cake, getting tasters etc... was made really simple. Then the cake itself. WOW. The taste and look was commented on by all of our guests. It was truly spectacular. I would highly recommend!!!!

We fell in love with Leanne’s beautiful cakes when we stumbled across her page and then Instagram feed. From the word go Leanne listened to our ideas and made suggestions which led to our absolute cake of dreams!! We had three tiers (one lemon, one chocolate and one Victoria sandwich). We asked for a couple of slices to be kept back for those that couldn’t make it and lucky we did as there was no cake left, which speaks volumes of just how delicious the cake was!! Well what can I say about Leanne, I initially contacted her back in 2020 to enquire about a cake for our wedding, unfortunately due to pandemic we were unable to see Leanne face to face. Leanne sent samples through the post that arrived in time and just before our what's app consultation, Leanne listened to our ideas of what we wanted and sent some examples ticking all our boxes. The cake samples were delicious as was the favour that she also sent. Leanne herself is fab, knowledgeable and great at her job, she will absolutely go above and beyond to make your wedding cake the best, she is definitely one of the best if not the best wedding supplier that I worked with whilst planning our wedding. She was always available to chat to when needed and not only gave advice on the wedding cake but all aspects of the wedding and always responded to voicemail messages etc... The wedding cake itself and favours (which we added at the last minute!) were both amazing, we chose mint chic chip, lemon drizzle and Victoria sponge for the cake. I would highly recommend Leanne to any future brides and grooms but also for any of your cake needs xx

My partner found Leanne via Instagram and after stalking her page, we got in touch. Leanne was great on the phone and very responsive over emails. We arranged a cake tasting session and had an opportunity to discuss designs and ideas in person. We walked away excited and wanting more of her cakes! She has so many delicious flavours!! Unfortunately, Covid happened since this meeting and we had to cancel our wedding. Leanne was very understanding and remained professional throughout. We subsequently changed our wedding to be an intimate affair and Leanne patiently worked with us to redesign the cake to fit a new theme and went out of her way to source the icing sheet from abroad! On the day, the cake was delivered punctually and presented beautifully with flowers and a cake topper that we had provided. All of our guests commented on how beautiful the cake was and immediate family were sent home additional slices which they enjoyed for days after! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Leanne and her services! She was a pleasure to work with and a vendor who made our wedding planning experience easy and enjoyable.
