Sean's Kitchen

Good service, very friendly staff, and a nice atmosphere. Very disappointing food. None of our steaks were cooked as asked and they all tasted burnt and flavourless. Most likely as they were bathed directly in an open flame (pictured). Sure, it looks fancy. But it kills the flavour. Maybe the pasta or burger or seafood is nice, but I don’t know. Based on this visit, I can’t give it more than two stars as the food was a real let down. I would revisit to try something else, but never ordering steak there again. Honestly, it feels like the kind of place bogans go to when they want to eat fancy, rather than a fancy restaurant. This is exacerbated by close proximity to the Casino.

This place has a rich feel to it. The interior is sharply designed and decorated, and gently exudes a sense of finesse. A feeling that is also conveyed by the staff that are well dressed, pleasant and pay attention to the details of the customer. The food doesn't disappoint either. The burger I had was filling, a good size and beautifully cooked. It looked good too but presentation probably needs a rethink to keep up with how other restaurants are dishing up this staple meal. Price wise, everything was on par with a higher end restaurant like this and I didn't feel I'd handed over too much cash for my dining experience at Sean's Kitchen. A fab place to eat by yourself or with friends.
