This place is for fancy dining, was fully packed during Friday night, the attendants were helpful but the service was really slow. We got our food after an hour we placed the order.
We ordered:
Shallot Pancakes- crispy and delicious indeed!
Sichuan hot and sour duck- Warm and delectable. The chunks of tofu were really soft but not crumbling in mouth, the texture was kept intact. The slight sourness and black pepper kept the soup mild and citrusy.
Sichuan hot and sour seafood- It was amazing just like the other counterpart.
Wok tosses chicken and cashewnut- Tossed with hearty veggies, this dish was dainty and luscious. The chicken was cooked well and the veggies were crisp enough to get that chew.
No complains about food but the service was a let down!

Brilliant Cantonese Chinese food. Great value to boot.
Go for the Dry Chilli Chicken, Sizzling Pepper Kangaroo and Tea-smoked duck. Can't really go wrong with the other dishes either.
Be sure to dine in though!

We have been here a few times for lunch. The food here is so so, but the lone lunch waitress is not your lovely warm and welcoming type.
Their signature dishes are the ngau lam keen (stewed beef noodles) and char kuay teow. Not too bad but if you are into Malaysian food, go to Little Chilli Padi which is far, far superior both for food and service.

One of the best Chinese restaurant in Adelaide. Authentic Chinese flavours with a modern twist. Nice atmosphere, professional staff and good quality food.
Nice menus for drinks and food with variety of choices. We tried pork, chicken and beef options plus spring rolls.

Love the fried rice and noodle in this restaurant. Authentic southern China style food, some of our dishes were finished so quickly and we forgot to take photos.
The fried noodle is well seasoned without overwhelming. There is no excess oil on the plate, but the noodle remains tender.
I also love the pepper pan fried chicken fillet (I can't remember the correct name). The chicken is soft and the chicken skin is just melted into the chicken fillet.

Wah Hing is a really good Chinese restaurant.
Peking duck: the skin was really crispy, and the meat was tender. Maybe not enough pancakes. One of the better Peking ducks here in Adelaide! The duck soup was nice, and the duck fried rice was tasty.
Taro duck: yes we had 2 ducks in one meal - this was super delicious!!
Pei pow tofu: nice crispy outside and very tasty filling. Great sauce too.
Golden mushroom with seasonal vegetables: nice Enoki mushrooms with Bok Choy.
Pork rib with sweet sauce: kind of like sweet and sour pork but with pork ribs. Tender pork and tasty sauce.

After 10 years of coming here I can safely say it's one of my all time favourites. Each dish is amazing, the staff know their stuff when you need a hand with the menu and they're all about service. Always a good meal at Wah Hing!

Menu isn't as big as it was and the prices have increased. The lunchtime menu variety isn't huge. Went here today, I had the Wah Hing special fried rice, it was nice & fresh, with a pleasant hint of chilli, I should've asked for more chilli, the entree of spring onion pancakes were devine.
