It was an interesting experience cooking on the stone grill. Chips were crunchy. Steak was a little bit chewy even if rare or fully cooked but was fine. Kids enjoyed it. Salad might need a bit more dressing. Decent sized serving.

Last dined at the Strathmore Hotel a few years ago and a friend suggested we revisit for dinner on Sunday of the June long weekend. So glad we did. Arrived and noticed the new interior renovations looked great. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. We decided to order the Beef & Reef stone grill while our friend ordered the schnitzel. All our meals were sensational. The rump steak was lovely and tender - melted in your mouth. Can't wait to return and would happily recommend to family and friends.

Ordered two stone steaks, which was great for the two of us. The first steak arrived and the hostess had the pepper grinder with her which was lovely. Unfortunately when my steak arrived and I requested the pepper grinder as well because we all know that a steak with a salt and pepper crust is better.
Well Unfortunately after several attempts to attract her attention to obtain that all important pepper.
It never arrived!
Which kind of spoilt the whole thing for me...

Excellent meals they were very nice couldn't fault them! Line up to order food was very long. Maybe another person to take food orders? Can not fault the meals though, compliments to the chefs last night! If you're looking for a great Chicken Schnitzel in Adelaide, this is a great spot! Awesome chips too!

Took my daughter here for lunch and it was delicious. We had 3 different areas/menus to choose from and the selection was was awesome. We opted for the cheaper meals but they certainly didn't disapoint.
