An incredible spot! Atmosphere was so incredibly unique, right down to the nitty gritty details of decor. The menu had a great variety and everything we ordered was delicious- could not fault it. Staff were friendly and very skilled; they were even happy to share their favourite places and things to see and do with us locals. Can’t wait to visit again!

Visited for lunch, our table ordered fish and chips, squid and lamb rump. Best squid I’ve ever tasted. It was my mums and it was that good, I had to steal it hahaha. Having the fire burning behind us while eating made it great, since it was a coldish day. Thank you.

Great location, great country pub BUT no flexibility at all. I stayed here 2 nights during my trip to Adelaide. 1st day: called them at 11am because I was early for my check in. Been told there is a $20 early check in fee because the check in time is at 2pm. I arrived at the hotel at 1.30pm and been told no one can check me in until 2pm. Waited around 30min then one of the staff checks me in. Attitude of the staff: annoyed, briefly told me there is a check out fee and showed me my room. I was tired, it was my birthday and just wanted my room, they just made it so hard for me. Went back to the hotel and wanted to order dinner. Been told the kitchen closes at 9pm. I checked the time and it was 9.06pm. I have been asked if I’d like a dessert 😨 Well yeah, still food but not quite the same 2nd day: called them at 9.30am to check if I can leave the luggage there since the check out is at 10 and my flight is at 2pm. Been told I have to be physically there before 10am otherwise I have to pay the late check out fee. I have mentioned my luggage is in my room purely because no one was there in the morning to leave my luggage out. Been told I have to pay the fee. As said, no flexibility and the staff attitude wasn’t great from day 1. I won’t be back and I wouldn’t recommend it if you’d like some flexibility.

Haven’t been for a long time. Meal ok but nothing to rave about. However, I was very disappointed that when I asked for a light beer, the barmaid said she was sorry but there is none. After my surprised look, she said she would ask at the back bar…nope none there either. No light beer is a bit irresponsible IMO. Why she just didn’t go out to the drive through and grab a carton and stock both bars, I don’t know🤷

Room was nice and clean. Forgot my pants in the room, sent 4 emails to the reception and made 2 phone calls over one week and in that time the reception was not able to get in touch with housekeeping to ask them about it and get beck to me. 6 times I was told they will find out and get back to me and they never did. ZERO customer service

Ordered the salmon special, there was nothing special about the tiny, dry portion of salmon that turned up on some lentils with two pieces of broccolini for $34. My friend ordered a $40 steak that was 1cm thick and overcooked. Bland and mean portions and a total rip off. They are charging restaurant prices and not delivering on the quality, flavour or portion size. Won’t be coming back for a meal again.

beautiful place on the inside, my boyfriend ordered some food through the QR code, he got the mile end burger, when they bought out the food they forgot the drinks. the burgers bacon was over cooked and the beef patty was pink and in resulted in my boyfriend getting food poisoning. he went there on Saturday and it’s now Tuesday and he is still throwing up. i hate leaving bad reviews but i saw i wasn’t the only person to say that the bacon was over cooked and the patty was undercooked.
