This is both for central markets and burnside. I am a regular at both) Central markets: I went there yesterday and ordered my usual which is salad with falafel and cauliflower fritters. There were three staff on and was very busy (took about 5 mins to get served). I was handed two small boxes (usually it’s one large) and thought perhaps they separated the salad and falafel but I was handed another customers order (easy done) as the box was small I opened it before leaving and saw the smallest serving of salads (one scoop of each), a tablespoon at most of hummus and my two ‘balls’. I asked the lady for more hummus which she rolled her eyes at, snatched my box without saying a think then handed it back without a word. Paying $17 for a salad you would expect more than this. Today I ordered from Norwood LTE and it was the right portion size, smoke hummus and all round great. Burnside: I’m a regular here but it is inconsistent and long wait times. On several occasions I have ordered my salads and they have not been fresh in fact they have smelt and tasted off. So much so now when I go there (example last week) I ask how long ago they were made. Last week i was told they were made 3 days ago (that is unacceptable in my view and experience) I said how on occasions they had tasted and smelt weird and she advised me she smelt them and they smelt great. So I made my order and once the falafel had been fried I was told sorry there is no hummus-the falafels can be dry at times and need to hummus to counteract that. The were all rushing, customers waiting so I just asked for a refund. I think the frequency in which the salads are made needs to be reviewed, staff made aware to keep it consistent and to the usual high standards of LTE that people of Adelaide know and love. I am hesitant in ordering and do always ask when the salads were made.

I got served old salads. Were expired and had a faul smell. Please dont buy food from them or if you do than please ask them to put fresh salads, I will make a complaint to the SA food safety regulatory body to check their processes and storage services. As i am sure they serve old stored food.

Another heaven on earth! My egg and cheese cravings are met and taken to a whole new level. I tried their food at a recent convention stand and had to track the place down. Know it’s not technically in the ‘central markets’ but rather the mall beside the markets in a fixed shop close to the street. Didn’t try the sweet offerings, but honestly didn’t want to destroy the flavours I’d just consumed. Highly recommend trying, and it’s all vegetarian done beautifully and makes you want to convert (or maybe not), but if I was to convert, I’d hang out here to keep to it!

I slipped in here before they were officially open so it was very quiet but the chilled tunes and the friendly service were on point. The small long black I ordered had a nice crema and was delicious. Thanks for the coffee.

Absolutely top notch! Amazing vegan food and the staff here are always so bubbly and ready to help. (Soy latte always done to perfection, never burnt) I would sell my soul for a life time supply of the Kale tabbouleh salad

I’m not vegan or vegetarian, but enjoy their vegetarian meals. Great value and their salads are excellent. Very friendly service. Everything I have tried here tastes great and fresh. I often get the takeaway salads. They are so generous with the servings. This is another favourite place of mine closer to my workplace which serves healthy and tasty food and helps my weight loss journey.
