The Noble Gentleman

Small venue, good atmosphere, great food and drinks. The Noble Gentleman is right next door to the Lady Burra Brewhouse and share the same kitchen and drinks menu. This means that you get the the great service beer and food of Lady Burra. What's different is that the venue is more intimate and is focused on the wine list and finer dining. The smaller venue can get a little noisy but not overwhelming. Overall it is a great place to go for a for a few drinks and great food with a smaller group or on a date.

Whilst the atmosphere and decor were decent, the lunch meal deals left a lot lacking. Got the $25 deal - lamb cutlets and a glass of red wine. The lamb cutlets were entree-sized, over-cooked, and lacking in flavour. If you are getting a lunch deal, get the pizza - which was decent sized and had a nice thin crust. The red wine by the glass options were not very good. They were out of stock of my first pick so I ended up with a Nick Spencer Shiraz Touriga Cabernet which was not very nice at all. The staff however were accommodating and friendly.

The guy who took us through when we made the booking was amazing and attentive. On the night food was delicious and the service was quite good, however, they were out of most of the wines that we tried to order and some of the food as well which was unusual seeing as we had booked for such a big birthday group.
