Cafe Palazzo

Outstanding Customer service provided by Angela. I arrived early, for Breakfast and she was bright, bubbly and friendly. Located on the corner of Barton Tce and O'Connell St, this is a 'must visit' food venue! My order was 2 poached eggs with bacon, served with multi grain toast on the side and 2 portions of Devondale butter. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the bacon had a delicious smoky grill flavour. I chose a pot of English Breakfast Tea to compliment. A huge Menu of foods are available, something for everyone! Food available from 7:00 am till late in the evening. Plenty of seating offered including comfy bench seating and outdoor seating as well, even a designated smoking area. There is a small 'nook' area that seems more private with seating for 2 (5 tables available) and is a little quieter. I assume it gets very busy as the day progresses and reserving a table would probably be wise. The trading hours are extensive with parking available on Barton Tce. Wheelchair ♿ access is available. I highly recommend you visit next time you are in the North Adelaide area!

Very good service, friendly staff, excellent varied menu to cater for all tastes and requirements; large or family bookings welcomed and child friendly. Great prices. Meals arrive in good time and are lovely. Happy with everything we order. The ambiance is warm and welcoming. It is well lit (dislike dark/dingy places) but not glaringly so and feels cheerful and classy without being too formal. Great place for a coffee with friends or family, celebration or birthday gathering and we have seen lovely christening receptions, etc over the years there. It is clean and comfortable with small or large tables or a more of an open booth or couch arrangement along the side wall. A suggestion would be clear tables a bit more as they are often not cleared adequately enough after each course and not much space on table. However some places do so much clearing that it is disruptive so maybe that is why they wait. It is not too big an issue. This is the only negative really. Great choice of desserts and drinks as well compared to many other venues. Long term customers for 17 years. Highly recommend. Lovely environment.

Very satisfying experience. I am harsh critique on the hospitality simply as I have seen it across Europe at several levels. This was was my first time at Palazzo and it started with a nice welcome from waiter when friends and I walked in. We were given menu and enough time to decide and our private conversation was not interrupted. Food was nice however with family pizza to share and special mixed grill for one they could have came together rather then 4 minutes apart. Furthermore, atmosphere were nice and random checks from staff on the table were appreciated. After dinner we started with same drinks and desserts which also were very nice. During drinks time young waiter was pushy to grab empty or half/empty glasses. When this happens once it's okay but more than that it is rather disturbance. As he is young hopefully he will develop feeling about it. Another point for staff is to try avoid passing between tight passages between chairs as it creates food court feeling rather than a nice restaurant. I will be back.

Had dinner here last night. Food was incredible. I had the Giant Outback Schnitzel, and well it was amazing and a lot of food! My wife had the Pollo Avocado, and enjoyed it thoroughly. The service was fantastic also and the timing of food was good also. The whole table ate at the same time, we had a table of 10. We will 100% be back there to try the menu again in the near future. Thank you very much for providing such an amazing atmosphere and food to boot!
