Tried the blue anchor today for a breakfast as not been before, cannot believe the size and quality of the food for the price, brilliant, will definitely be going again. Sam who was looking after us couldnt have done any more, excellent service would highly recommend.

Ordered a steak grill burger and wings while my missys got the fat chicken sandwich mine was okay me girls was brill, also got a pitcher of pina colada was amazing and cheaper than spoons and the thursdays they have free pudding along specials so in the end we were so fed i recommend

The staff were very helpful and really made us feel welcome , but there was no ice in the pub and no hand pulled beer.
When we received our food, one plate had cold chips and one had a sausage missing. This was quickly sorted by the staff. The pub itself is starting to feel a bit rundown but it is still a good place for a cheap meal

My first time here today, brought a good friend of mine out for lunch. Staff fab, especially lady behind bar. Will be making this my local even if I do live in Southport.

Food was absolutely gorgeous, the 5 of us left nothing on our plates! Starters, mains and dessert 🤩 no fault at all. Staff were amazing. Would recommend to anyone 👍🏼

Pint was lovely, food was great especially the new menu dishes. The Gravy burger is fabulous! So is the Katsu special- the salt and pepper seasoning is gorgeous. You want to see the Homer doughnut, it's massive but the torte with ice cream tastes like a frappacino. Service was superb with all the staff being lovely and happy to help. Will definitely be back!

Came here for a meal with family last Thursday. Food was really nice and staff are always friendly and welcoming. Really enjoyed the Horseshoe Homer doughnut which is new on the menu. We will be back.
