Our mixed kebab sharer was delicious, and there was a lot of meat so much that we brought the rest home and got a meal out of it the next day.
Best baklava I've eaten in the UK
It was warm, chewy, and sticky with plenty of syrup. I'd go back just for the baklava
Absolutely amazing place, friendly polite staff, highly recommended to all.
And OMG the food, I had a food coma till next morning.
It was birthday party, we had an amazing time here. We are regularly customers. Joao helped us so much, on the arrival he even changed our table to have more space. He went beyond his way, the amount of patience he had for the large group we were is astonishing. He helped us with the menu. He is a real star. Joao , you truly know how to deliver excellent customer service. Thank you!
First impression was that it was quite pricey for takeaway. More to this at the end of the review.
There were 4 of us who were on the go, so we could not eat in. We were all craving a nice chicken donner wrap.
To our surprise and disappointment, there was no chicken or lamb donner available on the menu. Possibly because it was too high class a place, I'm not sure but this was the first time I've come across a Turkish restaurant that doesn't offer this on the menu.
We ended up getting
The lamb adana kofte, which you can see from pictures, was a good portion size. Cooked fresh to order and nicely presented and given with sauces, cutlery, and napkin all without needing to ask, which was a nice touch.
Price £15
Adana kebab gets 8 of 10 for flavour.
Mixed chicken shish, which you can see from the picture, was nicely presented, nicely cooked so not overdone, and served just like the other kebab.
Price £18
Mixed chicken shish gets 7 out of 10 for flavour.
Service was 10 out of 10. Restaurant was really well presented and almost at capacity despite its large size. We were greeted straight away on arrival, given time to consider our order, offered to wait at bar for our orders, and shown where toilets were.
Last but not least we were given a 15% discount for ordering takeaway so prices came up slightly less than advertised on the menu.
Very warm welcome, drinks arrived promptly. 2 starters were shrimp and calamari. Both very nice . There was a long delay then of 40 minutes for our main which when arrived was very nice again. I would've been 5 stars for everything apart from the big gap from starter to main.
I'd definitely go back though as it was maybe a one time glitch
The best lamb sarma (beyti) ever…
I did love it. Incredibly amazing.
Whenever I go to Liverpool, I definitely visit for another sarma ✨♥️
I've been meaning to try here for a long time. It was fantastic. The decor is great , seating feels cosy, service is quick and very friendly!! All the food we tried was beautiful and really really good value
I highly recommend this restaurant and I have a LOT of experience in Turkish cuisine
Outstanding Turkish eatery. Welcome from start to finish was excellent. Staff where polite and the service was speedy without being rushed. Had the mixed kebab which I would highly recommend. Look forward to revisiting. Give it a go you won’t be disappointed.👌
Lovely food and nice open kitchen so you can see your food being cooked.
Absolutely amazing food, great atmosphere and Absolutely lovely staff. Very child friendly and accommodated our childrens food likes. I would recommend booking as it's popular and gets busy. Parking gets busy too but the over flow can always used the sports car park
