We’ve wanted to visit here for a while. I pre booked and paid the parking charge online as entry to the museum is free. Pre booking is not essential as there are parking meters dotted around. There are a few airplanes in the fields as you approach the museum. Plenty of disabled parking bays and fully wheelchair accessible throughout. There’s a cafe, two gift shop areas and plenty of history and information about. It took us roughly 2.5 hours to walk around. There are interactive screens and short movies throughout which are highly interesting. Would definitely recommend a visit here. There are four hangars jam packed with vehicles, planes, helicopters, cars tanks etc.

Yet another great day out at RAF Cosford. Free entry. Only pay for parking. If you pre pay for parking it’s cheaper than paying when you arrive. There is ample parking and a good amount of disabled spaces.
Nice play area for the kids. Right in front of the entrance. Good cafe right inside the entrance. Plenty of picnic benches and tables to sit outside.
There’s some good VR and motion rides for kids and adults.
Excellent displays of past and present aircraft. Good displays featuring selections of equipment and uniforms. Some very interesting stories of the RAF all around the static displays. It’s worth reading them if you want to enhance your experience of the museum.
Absolutely love the new bomber command section. Very respectfully put together. Amazing to see the Wellington bomber which was featured in one of my favourite films “The Dambusters”

We went with some friends who were visiting from Yorkshire. I had been before. However, my partner hadn't. He loves planes and can see the Lancaster go over our house. Sometimes, he loves it. Only £7.50 on the day for parking, no entrance fee. Had a fantastic time. The horrible history's trail was good for the children. You paid for that separately. We saw and read so much lots to take in. Would definitely go again x

Great day out for £20 per person.
Kids loved it.
All planes well maintained and horrible history tour kept them amused

I visited my friend in Telford and she took us there for my five-year-old son. My son was impressed and excited about this experience, thank them. I don't hide from you for me, it was the experience of my memory in Syria. We saw similar things that do not bode well … My wish is to mummify and store all warplanes in the world to be in place only museums.

Really friendly staff and plenty on hand to answer any questions you may have
Outdoor kids play ground is fun for the little ones and reasonable prices in the cafe

Lovely day out
Museum is free, there is an outdoor play park and indoor cafe. Good for an afternoon out with the kids - parking is £6.50
We’ve also been to the air show which is a fantastic day out. The only downside was that all the vendors were cash only and the food was expensive.

Fantastic place , went for the airshow but also the Museum. The staff and RAF personnel are brilliant. Highly recommend to visit this aviation Museum it's top notch. So much for all age groups to do and see.

The museums are free and staff are on hand to answer all questions. The museum is split into 3 sections. We noticed that they offer different events throughout the year which has definitely enticed us to visit again. You need a few hours to spend here so plan your day for this. There is a small plane themed playground for the kids to enjoy too.
You only need to pay for parking and some of the on-site experiences
