This is a very beautiful pub, with great countryside veiws, when sitting outside on the patio. Inside is nicely decorated too. The service was amazing, from the table staff, the bar staff too the glass collectors. The food was delicious. The prawn and calamari stater were amazing. My Only complaint would be the small portion size. The main course of a traditional Sunday roast was also very nice, with plenty of fresh steamed veg, and a large yorkshire pudding. Also, there is a good selection of draft and bottled beers. And soft drinks. We had a great late afternoon Sunday meal. Thank you.

Recently stayed and ate an evening meal at the Throckmorton for a family get together. Lovely clean and well equipped bedrooms which are good value and included a great cooked breakfast. The evening meal and service were both excellent with really helpful and efficient staff. Would thoroughly recommend.

Absolute gem of an Inn. Beautiful setting, has a lovely decked area at the back with views of the countryside. Staff are very friendly and attentive especially if you have any allergies etc. Very good sized portions of meals and desserts. There is accommodation as well.

Cannot comment on rooms as only stopped for lunch. Whitebait starter was excellent as was the rest of our meal. Definitely recommend.

Had lunch at the pub to break a visit to nearby Coughton Court. The food was very good, especially considering the prices aren't that high, and served by friendly staff in a smart but relaxed environment. Even got to try a very good sea casked whisky, which was a nice surprise. Definitely worth a return visit sometime to get those stamps on the loyalty card!

The best Inn I attended for the last time. I came from my night shift and slept over 😴 the Breakfast at 10.30 but lovely personally served it to me at a quarter to 11. The Breakfast was delicious 😋 the nature is amazing John Keats' meadows. One of tge best historical inns in England near Coughton Court, Studley and Reddich.
