Popped in on the bikes today. Good venue for any petrol head be it 2 or 4 wheels. Reasonably priced and good surroundings. Favourable to another well known establishment nearby, personally prefer the laid back atmosphere here and tarmac car park!
We recently visited The Piston Club and were amazed at the fabulous transformation. Wow what a great experience, totally made our day as we were just passing by and decided to take a pit stop there. Attention to detail in every area with lots of interesting memorabilia. All the staff were friendly, smiling and greeted everyone who came in. The team managed really well as they were very busy, which added to the enjoyment great buzz and atmosphere. We will definitely be visiting again.
We had called in a few years back when it was a pub restaurant. Saw it had re-opened and decided to call in. We were pleasantly surprised by the new 'petrol head' decor (even though it wasn't our interest! Lol). We ordered a burger style lunch which was good value and used quality ingredients. Would call in again when we next pass by.
Really well done. Clean and busy.
Only thing was they had one till open when they really could have done with two. Otherwise the food was great and the coffee is lush. All fresh and made to order. Outside area for children all fully enclosed.
First time since new owners and rebuild. Food was excellent, friendly staff. The place has been updated quite magnificently. If you're into car racing, this is the pub to go to. Method of booking a table needs to be improved though.
The bar / eatery part of the Stag is now branded as the Piston Club, they are doing a special on a bacon or sausage bap with a tea or coffee for £7.95 during Sat and Sun between 10 and 12,so i thought I would take a look. The sausages were very nice as was the coffee, the service was also very good, it was very quiet though needs a few car and motorcycle clubs to start doing rides to the place
Great venue for anyone who's a petrol head, be it cars, bikes, scooters, vans etc. Great alternative (better if you ask me) than caffine and machine. No pre pay, food is quicker. Highly recommended. Think I'll be moving my porsche meets and bike meets to this location from now on.
Stayed at the weekend with our dog 🐕. We was really pleased with the location (as we was staying over after visiting The Game Fair at Ragley Hall). The staff in the restaurant were a great help too! The outside rooms are a great size, clean and tidy too!
First time I've been there since the rebrand but won't be the last. If you like cars then this is the place for you. 'The Piston Club' as the rebrand is, is clean and smart with plenty of motor focused stuff to look at (even in the Gents), staff were plentiful and eager to help. Keep up the good work.
Went for lunch, delicious, good service.
Newly refurbished with a motor theme, not of any interest to me but decor is nice. Will go again
