Perhaps the best pub lunch we have had for many years. Very accommodating, good kids menu. Simple but excellently cooked meals, great value for money, even let me have chips and baked beans with my steak pie, which is how I like it! Highly recommend .
Great pub, warm and friendly staff, excellent quality traditional food. Our daughter and son-in-law live just outside the village of Aldbourne so when we visit them, a trip to the pub is a must, either for lunch or evening meal. Sincerely hope this pub keeps going unlike many village pubs which have closed down.
Pit stop between Bradford-on-Avon and home to London, non motorway route via Avebury stones. Lovely pub on a beautiful village green, arrived between food times so just had a drink and sat outside.
Amazing place, tucked out the way in Aldbourne. Lovely food, the larger was really quite nice and we sat outside in the lovely warm evening. Staff were very friendly and the dog on the table next to us was so cute!
First visit here.
would highly recommend had a steak with chips and salad tasted amazing. Nice little country pub and so cosy. Outside is amazing, has outside lights and you can just sit be comfortable and chill with your drink such a beautiful country pub and will definitely be coming back here .

Super pub. Super location. Can’t fault it. Great atmosphere. Good beers. Didn’t try food so can’t comment. Sunset here is a special time.
Great village pub on the green. Landlord friendly and helpful. Would recommend. Did not eat here but food and menu good.
A famous pub in a famous quaint village, where back in 1973, a Dr. Who episode was filmed. The pub was run by very welcoming staff and meal I had was delicious, a baguette filled with tender beef and with gravy over it, alongside with some crispy chips and a bit of salad, all washed down with a nice pint of Corvus, a malty Guinness type drink.
Great Waddy's country pub on the village green, superb seafood platter, sat out in front of the pub on a summers day with a pint and great food, what could be better
