We visit here probably monthly for a lazy tea, the restaurant / cafe is always spotless, friendly staff, massive portion of fish even for the medium size, proper mushy peas in a large pot. They are happy to serve items on their own or as a meal and the bread is buttered with REAL butter gorgeous. My son loves the decadent Milkshakes and we all love the cakes with a proper pot of decent tea. Well worth a try.

A really charming little cafe, with beautiful, great quality food. The scampi was delicious, and a lovely pot of Yorkshire tea was a nice touch. The staff were wonderfully warm and accommodating, especially as I had my four week old baby with our group.

We've been at least 10 times now, and it's the same everytime. Gorgeous fish and chips straight out of the fryer, golden on the outside, fresh and delicious on the inside, big portions with white, chunky fish that tastes like it came straight out of the sea this morning. I recommend breaking it up and letting it cool for a minute before eating though! Pointless going anywhere else.

Recommended by the family that runs Green meadow park up the road, this fish and chip shop will not disappoint. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, the food was second to none and the price, well I felt like I was robbing them. I would have paid double and still thought I was getting a good deal. When I come back up north, I'm definitely coming back here for my dinners.

A good place with helpful staff; went in the cafe area which was well laid out with a good toilet too! As cafe food is more expensive than same takeaway nosh we just had chip butty and chips with curry sauce. Overall good, but if concerned by cost, like us, choose the takeaway option (next time we will). Very handy location if you're a fan of viewing roads that have collapsed into the sea, like so many along this unique coastal area.

Brilliant food, and amazingly friendly staff. Only issues I've ever had is when I forget to pick my sauces up off the counter on the way out! Absolutely recommend

Quite a few fish and chip shops nearby but this is worth the extra drive. Delicious fish and chips and next time we fancy a pizza, we'll be going here!

We’ve used the take-out twice now and on both occasions the fish was great and the chips had a beautifully crisp, dry finish that so few fisheries in the area seem to get right! Will definitely be visiting again and hopefully this time in the restaurant as it looks very country and cute. Parking is limited as it is on the high street but you can park opposite down the side of the pub.

The food was delicious and relatively cheap. The owner was friendly and chatty. Would definitely buy takeaway from here again.
