We visited at lunchtime today, the staff were so welcoming and helpful. It was a beautiful warm day, so they reserved a table for us so we could sit outside until our food order was ready. We chose from the light bites menu, it was very tasty and well cooked and presented.
Well done to the two lovely guys on duty, a very pleasant experience.
Really great pub in the centre of Aldeburgh. Burgers were great, and communication from staff over food wait times (really not that long) was exemplary.
One note of caution, we went on a Saturday night and had booked ahead. It was fully booked and busy so if you are thinking of going, I'd recommend booking.
Dinner for 5. Really excellent food. Great variety on menu and reasonably priced. Had the Wagyu burger special which was awesome! Ales kept perfectly.
But most of all, top marks to the two guys behind the bar and waiting tables at the same time as well. Worked really really hard. I hope you pay them well. Thank you.

Very nice attentive staff, comfortable place for a welcome drink. It does food but I wasn't eating but day I called in they were fully booked for dinners!

Had a wonderful meal here. The service was great and my steak was the best I have had in a very long time. Would definitely recommend a visit but worth booking first
Absolutely fantastic meal. The steak and frittes were cooked to perfection. The squid starter divine. A busy pub and you can see why, the two lads serving are great and the chef behind the scenes well what more can we say 10/10. Dogs welcomed. Great choice of beers and gins x a must if your visiting Adleburgh.
The service is excellent and very friendly brought our drinks to the table and took our food orders, my husband had the seafood platter without the smoked mackerel and replaced it with calamari, I had the southern fried chicken burger also excellent, would I go again of course we would
Absolutely fantastic pub , we booked a table for 8pm Friday , fantastic welcome from the lads , Buster was superb , great staff. I ordered the full rack of ribs , which were the best ribs I have ever eaten , kids loved their food. And the bacon wrapped date salad was to die for. Cant wait to get back there. 5 stars!! Visited on a very sunny Saturday afternoon, Bar man was rushed off his feet but had a great sense of hummer despite people not returning their glasses.... every table was reserved ahead of the evening which I thought was a good sign! Can't beat an Adnams pint 👌
