Excellent fish & chips, very quick service, and a lovely intimate atmosphere.
The downside of that, of course, is there will be a long wait for a table.
But that was not a problem for us. š

Love this place, haven't been for a few years and me and hubby were welcome back by Phillippa. Rachel also came up to say hello from the chippy downstairs. So nice to be remembered. The staff are great and the food is great.

After not been able to attend upper deck for a couple of years . It was so refreshing to turn up and greeted by one of our favorite members of staff
Phillippa who remembered obviously one of there favourite couple lol....
Then Rachel appeared with equally a big smile and greeted us how nice to be remembered by lovely staff.
Now the service and food
We ordered our meal great service as always and by a new member of staff thank you.
Cod and chips mushy peas curry cuppa what else you need in life amazing food and service

We arrived in Aldeburgh on a mild, sunny February lunchtime to see the walls and benches along the sea front, lined with people enjoying a lunchtime treat of fish and chips, They looked and smelled divine. Our choice of dinner was decided. We soon tracked down the shop and returned that night to enjoy the best fish and chips that
we have ever tasted.
The haddock was fresh and tasty, the batter, light and not greasy in any way.
Chips were perfect. Very pleasant staff.

Treated ourselves to a sit-down fish and chip lunch as a treat and a change from Christmas food, and we werenāt disappointed. Lovely staff, lovely food, excellent place to eat. We had the more modestly-sized cod and chips which turned out to be just right. Light, crispy batter, flaky white fish, very good chips. Possibly the least greasy fish and chips I can recall, in sensibly sized portions.

This is one of the best(if not THE Best) Fish & Chips I have ever had. The quality is next to none and the batter is fantastic. Everytime we go, we ask for scraps and it is phenomenal. The staff are lovely and this is very family friendly. Highly recommend you get there as it opens because this establishment is in such high demand. The fantastic thing is despite being so popular, you never feel like the staff are trying to rush you as they truly value your experience there.
Iāll be back ASAP with the family for sure!

Lovely fish and chips. Good sauces too. Restaurant is above the fish and chip so food comes out quick. Table service with friendly staff.
