Admittedly, it was a long time ago since I visited this restaurant, probably circa 2001. All I remember was eating the best steak I've ever had in my life! I was with my Dad and his mate, we'd travelled over on RIBs from Poole. There was nobody in the restaurant apart from us. Served by an attractive lady

Their fish pie is legendary. Off the menu in the summer, but we begged and then booked it for a week or so later. Worth the wait. But all the other portions looked very generous. And very relaxed and friendly.
