This is one of my favourite Wetherspoons Pub and it sits in the centre of Aldridge. Most Wetherspoons that I have been to tend to be dark and old but this branch is quite light and airy. Its not as big as most others in the chain but it does what it says on the tin. As you walk in there are about 4 booths on the left then the tables are spread amongst the central eating area with the bar along the right. Towards the back you will see there is a nice patio area that over looks the Morrisons car park if you choose to dine outside. The menu is in keeping with all Wetherspoons - how can you grumble at the price. The ceiling is tall high and as I sit and enjoy your meal and drink I tend to wonder.. exactly what the building was like in its previous lives.. cinema... bingo hall. Up stairs to the loo your talking art deco.. will try to remember to take some pictures next time.

The Avion does what Wetherspoons does best: offering decent quality food and drink at very affordable prices. I'm a happy customer, previously there was nowhere decent to drink in the village and a large beautiful building was lying empty. I've been several times now including for breakfast and evening meals as well as just a drink. Food is of a fairly reliable quality and arrives fast. Staff are polite enough and the place is clean and tidy. There are seating areas out the front and back, although the view of car parks leaves a bit to be desired. Gets fairly busy on Friday and Saturday nights so a seat isn't always guaranteed but it's a great place for a fry up the morning after.

Easy to get to, enough surrounding car parking, lovely big space and decor, very busy due to school holidays, bit still got a table, was special friends birthday, staff let us bring balloons and birthday cake,, very accommodating,, order food from bar,, very big selection of food for different diets and alegies,, we had curry, steak, halumi. And all was enjoyed. Thank you to all the staff,, they were rushed off their feet,, Great place,Great Food, great price.

Popped in for breakfast with the wife this morning, now I never expect much from a spoons but this place is the best I've visited young lad on the bar was professional but friendly, food came quick which I was surprised at as it was busy for a Sunday morning great food could of been a little hotter but wasn't unbearably cold like most spoons serve

The social melting pot of Aldridge. Great food, great range of beers. Meal for 2 with drinks cost less than for 1 person elsewhere 👍 Is there any where else you can eat in after 9.30 pm without pre booking!??

Really relaxed in there, Tuesday at 3pm. Food came quickly and had the steak deal with drink. Steak very tender.

Nice friendly place. It was busy when we went. It did seem noisy, food served quickly & nice beer.

I always like a Wetherspoons even if it is really crowded. The Avion is a really iconic building and great that it has been saved. The food was good too. What is not to like at their prices.

Came here for a Breakfast, Easy to get served, friendly staff. Clean and tidy. Good Value for money on drinks and food. I had a Traditional breakfast with a Refillable hot drink for under £5! Good Atmosphere on a nighttime too.
