Sweet Aldridge

I went here tonight with my brother, and our experience was excellent, the hospitality was incredible and the food tasted really nice. The gentleman who served us was named Jay, his customer service was amazing and he was an all round special person, you could see the passion and enthusiasm radiating off of him as well. Jay really cared about how settled we were and whether or not we were enjoying the food, he was also proud to show off the desserts and drinks he did for us. You really feel like you’re one big family in there and the other members of staff were very pleasant in there also. Coming here tonight has made my week and I’ll definitely be coming back soon, Sweet is a very honourable establishment and I highly recommend to anyone who fancies treating themselves in Aldridge in the near future, it really felt like more than a business to these workers, so for that I’m giving it all 5 stars 👍🏻

Really enjoyed my waffle last night. The two blokes were very attentive to our needs. Got me a high chair for my baby. Were always smiling and friendly to our group. However, the shine was taken away last thing before we left. As we got up to leave a female employee asked us in an abrupt manner, “have you guys paid? have you guys paid? To which we replied yes. She then ran and started shouting for us all to hear, have this group paid? I thought this was very rude and we were made to feel like thieves. I think she needs training from the two male employees. She was very very rude. Was a very young girl. Made us feel awful whilst the guys were exceptional. I have never been made to feel this way before. Obviously we walked out slowly with our baby. We were not running away. We are proper law abiding citizens.
