Charming little place with indoor and outdoor seating and a lovely atmosphere. Stopped here at the beginning of a long coastal walk, and enjoyed an excellent Americano and a delicious bacon sandwich. The staff were very friendly and service was efficient. Reasonable pricing too, particularly for such a popular location. There were a few paintings for sale on the wall, and a toilet in a separate outbuilding to the rear.

Lovely café , Fresh ingredients on our toast but it lacked something on the base… creamy cheese etc coffee was ok , great service and yummy 😋 homemade scones & clotted cream !!!! Btw Dog friendly 🐶 and no booking needed!!!

What a lovely welcome we had, even though we arrived very near to closing time! We were lucky enough to be served the most delicious tea and homemade cake by the jolly staff!, thank you.

Cute little cafe in the village. Nice tea and cakes. Not lots of seats but it’s only a little place. If you can get a seat it’s worth it. Will go back

A wonderfully compact country village tearoom with a lovely range of food. The menu isn't huge but there's enough to suit most tastes. The breakfasts are tasty and filling and the light lunches are delicious. We haven't tried the cakes yet but they look mouth watering.

Lovely little teahouse in the centre of nice village Alfriston. We were sitting on the pavement enjoying delicious food and watching historical buildings around. Amazing food and service. The best mocha coffee i have ever had so smooth. We are definitely coming back!

After a long walk to Beddingham and back over the downs we stopped at the Singing Kettle for much needed refreshment.We went for the savory cream tea. Cheese scones, cream cheese and a delicious red onion marmalade. Plenty of tea and lovely staff.

Prime location for a summers lunch 😋 We visited today and spent some time admiring the gorgeous surroundings Alfriston has to offer, sitting outside when the weather's good is ideal for some people watching. The food was great and reasonably priced, service with a smile and food came out very quickly 👍🏽

I had my first taste of the British Scones at The Singing Kettle - Teahouse & Eatery in Alfriston. I will never forget. I was already in live with the beautiful village but eating at The Singing Kettle was a really great for me. The place is small but gorgeous, old but refreshing, and all round nice. The customer relations was top-notch and the food, oh my God. I can still taste it in my mouth. Take me back to Alfriston ❤️

Wonderful , we had carrot cake, scones and fig flapjack. Omg they were the best scones ever and I’m not just saying that. The lady even came out because my friend asked are the cakes fresh lol, of course they are fresh lol . We were the 3 on the bikes xxx
