Well worth the 20 min wait as cooked on demand,less time waited than for a pub meal and 100% better, would definitely recommend. Shop was full so says there good. Thank You
Lovely fish and chips, don't mind the long wait when it's freshly made and delicious but was a little disappointed that we tried to order regular sized cod and they said they only had light bite size....
It really was a light bite we were all starving after , which was a real shame as the small portion we had was lovely.
We would definitely go again but would hope they had more fish options.
Also need to remember to take enough cash as no card payment option.

Comfortably the best, tastiest, most delicious fish and chip meal I've ever had and, trust me, I've had a few! The chips were properly cooked, unbelievably tasty, but the fish....oh lord was it tasty! Freshly cooked, lovely batter, nice portion size...simply beautiful!
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! We will definitely be back the next time we visit our daughter.
Simply gorgeous fish and chips! All fresh and cooked from scratch (hence the longer waiting times) but well worth the wait! Best quality fish I have had in years and the chips are delicious! I can't recommend this fish and chip shop enough!
Excellent. We called here 6 or 7 years ago & the experience was faultless.
Today we had fish & chips with curry sauce & a buttered tea cake. Huge fish & generous helping of chips.

Went here yesterday for a quick dinner while we were visiting the area. OH MY GOD!!!! These were the best fish and chips I have EVER had. I will definitely be back as soon as I can.

Really nice chips, not a massive portion like some chippies that you can’t finish but just really nice and crunchy chips. The fish was nice, not the best most flaky I’ve had but good. Waiting time was long took about 30 mins to get them from the point of ordering. Beautiful location just off the beach.

Ordered meals for 11 people. Every one was perfect. It included, fish, chips, scampi, battered sausages, mushy peas & curry sauce. Each was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend.
A local institution in Allonby. All food is cooked to order, so the wait times can get long in the busy Summer months.
Fish is invariably good; especially if they have cod available. Chips usually of a good standard, but there have been the odd occasions, where they have been soggy.
