We stopped in on the way back from wick 5 Archie Johnstone tipper drivers stayed overnight food was amazing 😉 best home made steak pie for a long long time staff were really good and filled our flask with hot water for during the night would recommend this place to anyone and also had a peaceful nights sleep in the truck as well 🙏🏻 again
the fish and chips were excellent- Never tasted better considering I was a head chef at a very famous restaurant. Meal was followed by a lovely cup of tea. Will make a point of stopping off there again in the near future.
Was told by a friend this was a good place to go for food so I went for breakfast and was not disappointed. Its a lovely cafe with a wide range of items on the menu. There is a spacious seating area and a couple of sofas for a more relaxed cuppa. Its all table service and the food was served in around ten minutes. I would recommend the big breakfast which took a bit of effort to finish. Will be back here for more.
This is a fantastic alternative to a service station, clean, friendly, quiet with great food.
This is now a community cafe which is beautifully clean and welcoming as are the staff. They have a varied menu of very tasty food including gluten free and options for vegetarians and vegans. We ate here while charging the car at one of the electric charging points outside. It is also just next to the petrol station. I would definitely recommend it.
Stopped in on Saturday night, quiet and all covid protocols in place. Good selection of food to choose from and there's a kids menu aswell. 4 off our 5 meals were great.. The steak pie especially yummy for me.. only downside was my wife's macaroni had clearly been reheated/nuked in microwave so had dried from the inside out. She still ate it though so can't have been too bad.
Finishing off with ice cream kept the kids happy.
Takeaway available as well as sit in.

WOW!!!! The food is fantastic here, the place looks like a little run down petrol stop over but the staff and food are amazing, well worth a little visit if you're heading North...
REASONABLY PRICED ...2 young woman on the day we was there were fantastic .....grate prompt service , good quality food and for a service station REASONABLY PRICED
if you want, nead,or have to stop this is the place to do it...the fuel station is also reasonably priced at this location
