Caffe Tirreno

In Alnwick for a couple of days, came here as it was recommended online for gluten free food. The staff were absolutely wonderful and lovely. The food was excellent. It was just great. We were going to go back tomorrow, but they're closed Tuesdays 😢 . If you want somewhere great to eat, seriously, go here.

A fabulous meal with kind and welcoming staff. We're not local to the area and popped in to enquire after a gluten-free meal. We were warmly greeted and informed about our options. We had a delicious meal, and if we were visiting longer, we would return happily. We would happily recommend for a delicious meal, that is very good value for money

The food and services were absolutely brilliant. Always felt lined after and that we were important and part of a service. The pizzas were amazing, both adults and kids portions done to a high standard. Without doubt, the best place to eat in Alnwick. I can't praise the restaurant more highly. Thank you for our night.

Amazing Italian. We were in Alnwick for a week and managed to get a table twice whilst we were there. The food is exceedingly well cooked and presented and tastes divine. And portions are almost too large. If you like a dessert don't have a starter as you won't have the room to fit one in. They don't have a reservation/booking system so it can be difficult to get a table (failed on our 1st night) but if they are expecting a table to become free soonish they will come and get you from the pub next door. Definitely worth retrying until you can get a table. The staff were great, friendly and happy even though both times we went it was totally full and they were rushed off their feet. You will not be disappointed

Best italian food iv ever had! We had the most polite and welcoming waitress (Alicja). The food came all together meaning we could all eat together while it was all hot. Waitress was amazing with our two kids and now they want to go back more too. Price is reasonably cheap for the service and quality of the food. All in all AMAZING!!!!

No pre-booking tables..but NO PROBLEM. The Queueing system they have in place, works perfectly. Just add your name & number to the list& they let you know when your table is ready. Service is spot on. Food...Wow..Wife had Lasagne (Amazing). I had possibly the best Fillet Steak ever. Blue cheese sauce with it was to die for 😋 Overall, wonderful place, lovely staff and service and outstanding food. Not enough stars available for it... thank you 👏

We went twice in the few days we were in Alnwick, and honestly, just incredible pizza. We were over the moon with the quality of the food and the attention to detail from the servers. Everything was served quickly and cooked well. I had quite possibly the best tiramisu I've ever tasted - would highly recommend! The whole menu was also very reasonably priced, especially considering portion sizes and quality.
