What a fantastic little place this is. A well stocked shop with a variety of fresh goods, including the famous Craster Kippers, which are vacuum packed for freshness, which I was buying for a friend so I bought a pack of flapjack for myself …

Bought the Craster kippers online and they arrived two days later. All nicely packed and in order. Very efficient. They taste divine, we boiled a kettle and put them in boiling water a few minutes. Just perfect and not over powering. Very affordable prices and superb quality. Will order them again. Give them a try.
We go there regularly to get kippers and smoked haddock.
Don't leave it too late in the day as they sell out quickly.
The kippers are to die for. Some of the best I've ever had.
We had never tried kippers before
and decided to give them a go, I quite liked them and we also purchased a lovely piece of smoked haddock. I would recommend this place to buy fish, also Craster is a lovely little port to visit.
Very disappointed to travel to Craster and weren't able to have any kippers as they no longer have cooked ones ready to eat. Lady told us they sell cooked ones at the quarry car park but they were closed for the season.
