Lovely staff and brilliant food. The Steak Pie was so good. The staff even brought me extra gravy without me asking! If you’re in the village, well worth a visit

Called on for a coffee and Toasted Teacake which was delicious Really efficient and friendly service so much so that we returned for Lunch .Had a Steak Pie with Mashed Potatoes and Carrots/Peas and a Lasagne with Coleslaw and Salad . We both enjoyed them The Steak pie did not skimp on the Steak and there was a generous amount of the rest .The Lasagne was the best I have tasted in a long while and the salad- for me was just the right amount with a nice dressing on it . The cafe seats about 22 persons . If we visit Alnwick again we will definitely be back.

What a wonderful meal. We had steak pie with chips. It was such a generous serving we could have shared! The steak was tender. The crust was thick. It’s a very small establishment but well worth a visit
