Absolutely stunning makeover for a hidden gem! We are locals and visited a few years ago, and it was nothing compared to what it is now!
The new huge expansion and development of a traditional country pub, but created for the modern demands of customer experience of great food and local produce, captured by natural beautiful surroundings is a 10 out 10!
The staff were really knowledgeable and very helpful. The service was relaxed, and the new extension we sat in was really impressive, and the garden area was picture-perfect for anyone whether socially with family, or friends or romantically, this pub would suite anyone wanting to visit a real country pub tucked away off the beaten track.
The menu offers up some mouth-watering delights, and they have specials every day and offer gluten-free options, which is clearly marked.
The portions are very generous but plated up with care and foodie flare! We enjoyed every mouthful.
It's dog friendly, with free ample parking, and I can imagine this pub will be a hot spot for locals and outside visitors for many years to come.

The pub was well decorated with a lovely rustic style and atmosphere. Located in a beautiful countryside surrounding, over looked from the rear garden. The canvas canopy nicely sheltered you, with cute garden tables and chairs. Stone baked pizza was on offer. The interesting menu offered us great choice. The table service was very good. We really enjoyed the food, very well presented and oozing with flavour and texture but does come with a price. However, wished the dessert we chosen was more to our liking. This does not deter us from eating here again. Great find, wish there were more independent, well run pubs like this one. Highly recommended.

Honestly all I can say is the team have got it right! …The staff are super friendly! The atmosphere is warm! The food is amazing! The garden is beautiful! It’s my go to place to celebrate dinner or enjoy a dog walk and a drink. Thank you again guys will be back soon

Probably the best pub once been to.
Staff are friendly, helpful and professional. The food we tried was the lamb bbq with pita bread and it was delicious.
The gardens have been well thought out and designed and the bar area welcoming and friendly.

Fantastic lunch yesterday. Great service provided by Cheryl and Khalid. Mediterranean main dish finished off with, sticky toffee pudding and a flat white. Significant refurbishment of the pub just coming to an end so looking forward to a repeat visit very soon. Thank you once again.

Wonderful country pub serving generous tasty upmarket dishes. Great selection of real ales and IPAs. Excellent service made us comfortable and we were given a choice of tables. By the time we left they were all taken so book early to avoid disappointment. Thoughly enjoyed the scotch egg and short rib of beef.

Beautiful pub with stunning gardens and views across open countryside. The inside bar area is lovely and cosy. Staff were brilliant and food amazing. Shame it's so far away from us or we'd be regulars.

Great pub. Dog friendly, kid friendly, they even liked me. Outside has a great garden with a wild flower area (you need to see it) which rather sums the place up. Outside bar, pizza oven, covered tables in one area, and panaramic view of cows doing their thing. Great summer place, and I expect pretty good in winter too. We love it.

The Tichborne Arms is a lovely, dog friendly, country pub.
We visited for Sunday lunch after a long dog walk around the local area.
A warm welcome, friendly hosts and brilliant service adds to the exceptional food.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable visit and look forward to returning!

Visited for Sunday lunch. A roast at £21 needs to be good, and it generally was. Loads of veggies done nicely. Beef was well cooked but lacked flavour. Roast spuds underdone & flowery. Had to move tables as the accoustics in the glass roof room are awful, a large noisy group meant we literally couldn't hear ourselves.

Best pub I've ever been to in terms on location and facilities. It's a stunning pub in a picturesque location overlooking fields with cows. The pub is big with a vast garden with a small playground and boules. We only ate the pizzas, and they came quick and we're tasty. The staff were friendly, great service. Definitely recommend a visit

Absolutely superb visit. Hadnt been here for a while and the new extension and garden area have made an already lovely pub simply sublime. The food was absolutely perfect, the staff were all so helpful and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxed. Will be back very soon.

Excellent facilities with stunning interior and even more stunning outdoor dining area. The food was beautiful and staff were incredibly friendly. The perfect place to visit if out walking/cycling or celebrating. We will be back!

A wonderful county pub which really offers everything- eat outside in the beautiful garden with wonderful planting and wild flower area with choice of seating options and views or outside under a fantastic giant canvas cover with outdoor pizza oven (also special cook out wood fire sessions). Inside, choose a cozy traditional side or light and airy side of the pub. Food has similar wide range of choice too. You can get a coffee and pastry/muffin (great for cyclists and easy to keep eye on your bike & walkers - dogs welcome too) or bigger breakfast if you are looking for something more filling. There are nice lunch and evening food choices and specials board too. Love it. A real gem of a pub and we will definitely be back again and again!
