Thank you so very very much for helping us when the A38 was closed.
I forgot the name of the lovely barman (in the relief of being helped!) who guided us home but please thank him again from us - I'm sorry another motorist pipped at him.

What an amazing pub,stayed a couple of nights and was very impressed. The food was excellent,had breakfast for the 2 mornings and an evening meal,the food was excellent and not at all expensive, compliments to Nick the chef who was also the landlord. The staff were super friendly, and as was the atmosphere in the pub. I will certainly be visiting again and would highly recommend this to anyone. Thank you again to the George & Dragon for making my stay worthwhile.

What a lovely friendly pub. The staff, very happy, The food, all cooked to perfection. All food piping hot served on hot plates. Would thoroughly recommend this pub. Definitely give it 5*****

Lovely pub, just stopping by while visiting the Arboretum. I’m sure I’ll be back :) Nice beer, nice atmosphere, nice pork scratchings. The kind barmaid even let me charge my phone for a bit with her charger. Many thanks!
