Mac's Downtown

Mac's is the first place I think of when I'm craving a good burger. Their $8 build-your-own burger deal (which comes with fries) is my go-to every time. Their waiters are typically on point with service, and it hasn't ever taken too long for the food to come out. Their biergarten is well lit and very cozy, and the plants help maintain its outdoor feel during these colder months when they seal it up for warmth. When it's warm outside, they open the place up for fresh air to come through. Either way, it's always comfortable. I highly recommend checking this place out, it's one of my favorite spots to get a bite to eat with friends.

Has been my go-to place in downtown Alton for years. The food is great. The people are wonderful. And Mac is just one fantastic host. He has always come to our table to talk and he truly cares about downtown Alton. Doing so many wonderful things for our town. You definitely want to visit here and will want to come back again and again.

This is an excellent place for a great night out. A little gambling, a little drinking, watching sports on all the TV and having a great lunch or dinner. Choose From the large portioned Appetizers to the great steaks and burgers. Please wear a mask and come with your appetite. Ask for for Tracy for excellent service for all your needs. Don't forget to try the Spicy Bloody Mary with horseradish.

We go for horse racing. OTB on site. Triple crown all the time. We had a great sever. Celeste she was very attentive and had or orders right. Even tracked down the G/F for drinks which she didn't have to do. She was asked to leave by BOSS man because she took a quickie to smoke. That's a bunch of B/S in my book. This is a smoking bar. If u want good employees around please don't treat em this way.
